This thing works so well, I'm very pleased! I love that there isn't a battery in it to go bad, so unless the motor dies, it will last a very long time! The amount of heat it produces is perfect, and I love how it has two sets of different sizes massagers. It has three settings that are very good, too.

This massage machine works very well. For my lower back, I sit in a recliner, place it up about 2 or 3 inches above the seat, lean back some, and turn it on. It has three settings: massage, vibrate, and both, plus a separate button for heat. I put it on the third setting and add the heat (which is not hard when doing the lower back). I lean back just a little because the muscles want to strain at first. As my muscles relax, I lean the chair back more, and finally after my back is relaxed enough, I am all the way leaning on it. It lasts about 15 minutes, and the directions say to not use it longer than that because it can damage the machine, so I wait at least an hour to do any further massage. The upper back and neck are harder, because it tends to slip down when I recline the chair or lean back. I usually have someone help me put it in place, but I use the same technique to lean back. I find that my back is always at least 50% better, with less pain and more mobility, after the massage is over for either the lower or upper back. This pain relief lasts most of a day, so if I use it two times a day, it is very helpful. My pain is from arthritis, so I don't know how it would help other problems, but I believe it would be useful to anyone with back pain. I bought another one for my daughter, who also has back pain, and she loves it. I think if someone just leans all the way on the machine right away, it would be more painful, so I recommend leaning slowly while you get used to the massage. I also have the foot massage machine from the same company, and it works even better, so I have around 70% less pain after use with it.

I had an old version of this pillow and honestly i liked my old one better. It lasted such a long time i think i had it for 7-8 years before it stopped working. This pillow does get pretty deep in the muscles i use it on my lower back and shoulders/neck and it works amazing. The only negative is it does shut off after maybe 10 minutes or less so you have to keep restarting. The buttons are also surprisingly sensitive I can barely lean on it and it changes the settings. The settings are massage, heat, vibrate, and vibrate while massaging. I don’t care much for the vibrating. I got my old pillow for $20 and it was a lot better quality. I wish they still had that design but I’d still give it 4 stars bc it does work for muscle knots.

With that said I really wish Amazon would quit raising the prices if you've purchased one item and go back to buy it again and they've raised the price by half.. QUIT DOING THAT. YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS!! 🤬 But this particular massager is Amazing! I have purchased a few along with my tense unit. I have scoliosis and rods in my back. So I get pinched nerves and all kinds of knots all the time! I live on my tense unit. But wanted something else. For my husband too. I got a gun massager for Christmas but that just hurts my back. This massager is absolutely perfect! Not a fan of it being plugged in. But it works! Mu husband even loves it! So 3 of us will take turns on it. I went to buy another one because it was like $35. But a month later it raised to $46. I will probably buy another one when ours dies but not now just to have a second one because they raised the price. I would absolutely recommend this massager! It's well made and absolutely relaxing lol! Please go back to the original price and I'll buy 2 more! 1 for me again and 1 as a gift! Sooo much relief! 10/10 would recommend!

I have purchased several of these over the years. I use one almost every night. I have been pleased with them. (I am a hard users on them, and they eventually wear out, but I have always been satisified with the length of time the product lasted, and always pleased enough that I got a replacement. I did not rate previous purchases, but they would have been 5 stars. I had a problem with one, but Amazon replaced it. I have to rate the latest purchase at 3 stars because they have changed the product, and it no longer fits my needs. 1. It now vibrates (which in and of itself is great), but it is now thicker than it used to be. 2. The deep-kneading massage used to be a smooth, continious movement. Now, it is "jerky", which I do not find relaxing. I much prefer the older version. I will not buy this version again.

Where has this massaging pillow been all my life??? This wonderful device gives you three-way relief: 1) Shiatsu deep kneading action. 2) Vibration. 3) Heat. You can select any of those three functions separately or all together (my choice!) You can also deploy this pillow to treat a number of afflicted body parts: 1) Lower back. 2) Neck. 3) Feet. Those are the areas where I most often need pain relief, and it is likely that this pillow can be useful in other places as well. The controls are simple: just two buttons on the pillow, one governing power on/off plus selection of shiatsu or vibration or both, and the other turning the heat on or off. The vibration isn't as strong as that provided by a percussion massager, but it gets the job done, and the heat comes on at a nice level too: toasty but not incendiary. Similarly, the shiatsu kneading action is simple as well, not the fancy programmed routines some more expensive shiatsu devices provide. But again, this pillow seems to take care of business, punching above its weight and size. Finally, the pillow comes with a nice long power cord, and power shuts off automatically after fifteen minutes, assuring you don't overdo your massage session. All this versatility and efficacy in one compact unit, priced at under sixty bucks. What's not to like? Take a hike, Mike Lindell! Highly recommended. PROS: * Massages with shiatsu deep kneading, vibration, and heat. * Use massage functions separately or all together. * Works on lower back, neck, feet, more. * Auto shutoff after fifteen minutes. * Simple easy-to-use controls. * Quiet in operation. * Ample power cord. * Reasonably priced. CONS: * No percussive massage or programmed shiatsu routines.

I had this model for almost 7 years and it finally died. So, I wanted to replace it since it had performed so well for me over the years. I used it on my back, thighs, stomach - all of my chronic pain areas. The new product arrived and it would not fit in ANY socket in my home. I am in the USA. It's almost like the plug is for another country. I had other people try to get it into the socket and it was impossible to get into any socket in my entire home! I returned the product to exchange for a different one. Unfortunately, the replacement also did not fit any of my electrical sockets. I went to a friend's home and nope, it could not be wiggled, pushed or otherwise put into the socket. It's going back and now I will find a different brand. Amazon customer service is completely unhelpful and it seems they would want to know when there is a potentially harmful item that could cause destruction of property with a fire or possibly the loss of life because of the faulty product.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!! I bought this one and the full length one that goes onto a chair and rolls up and down the spine, and I have to say... I prefer this one more. Why? Because it can go ANYWHERE! I'm reading people complaining that this isn't wide enough to hit this muscle or that... hello!... just move it! Of course, you need to avoid direct pressure on your vertebrae, and as long as you do that... the possibilities are endless! I have side-lied on this and dug out the connections in the underarm. I have sat on it and gotten the glute and hamstring attachments. You can do calves, feet, even the groin. Maneuvering to find just the right position and pressure can be a bit daunting at times... however, it is well worth the effort when you hit THE SPOT. I am a bit spoiled because I have a bed where I can adjust the incline and so a bit easier to find just the right position and pressure without so much work "holding" it. But I really can't rave enough about this product. I have a lot of deep adhesions that require A LOT of pressure and time to dig out. When I first got this, I thought for sure I would break it within a week since I found I needed to apply all my body weight on it, and needed to use it for well longer than the 15 minute time limit. I could tell I was taxing the device as I bore all of my 180 pounds onto it. But to my surprise, it has withstood this type of repeated abuse for a year now. It is just getting to the point of break down as I can feel/hear something is loose inside and moving around when it shouldn't be. And I will MOST DEFINITELY be buying a new one. Because even if I have to pay for one new one per year... the cost for one is cheaper than ONE, one-hour massage. And seriously, I have paid for massages that produced less results than this product. I like deep pressure and this product delivers.... better than some trained professionals. If you do not like deep pressure or are sensitive to it, than this may not be the product for you. If you have deep adhesions that have sat for a long time, it could be very painful initially. Do it as deeply and as long as you can tolerate, (make sure you can breathe throughout), and then take a break. Stay regular with it, and eventually you will find the freedom you have been longing for. Don't use on bare skin, especially with the heat feature, as you can cause a skin-burn (like a rug burn), from rubbing the same area too long. (This may still happen even with a clothing barrier). But also don't use your favorite shirt as it can stretch it all out in the spots where the balls are. If I could make any suggestions to the makers on how to improve this product it would be: 1) Change the on/off button to a switch on the cord. It is very frustrating to be on a spot and then wiggle a bit and accidentally press the on/off button. 2) Make the cord a wee bit longer. 3). Make a car adapter for it, with a chair strap to hold it in place. :) Any shortcomings of this product, however, are outweighed by the immense healing ability it provides. I truly love it and again... highly recommend it!

Works great for my lower back!

I've had the same one for over 7 years and I used it every week since. Just love it. It eventually died and I bought the same model the same day. It work as well as the first one I had. Good quality, durable! Highly recommand it. Work great for headhaches or back pain.

This has actually benefited me more than hands-on I have had many injuries from a motor vehicle accident and this really gets into the sub-scaps, rhomboids, mid, low back and even my neck very well. Like I said it is hard and deep, uncomfortable for my wife so I get to hog it to myself
