Composting: Nature's Recyclers (Amazing Science) Paperback – August 31, 2006

My 5 year old daughter and I attended a local nature class that taught us about composting and the teacher read this book. I came right home and ordered it on Amazon because not only is it an enjoyable book for kids, parents can learn the most basic concepts of beginner composting. It can motivate and inspire even someone who lives in the city to turn their food scraps into potting soil.

I used this book for a worm unit in my preschool classroom. It was helpful in referencing the worm's role in natural recycling.

Good to help understand the basics.

Used this in working with my grandchildren and their class mates. Drawings were delightful - children able to associate what they were seeing in the book to what they were looking for in the garden.

An easy reader for 4 and 5is to et the concept of composting.

A good book for what I purchased it for--to teach children about soil.

Composting books are hard to find and this one is full of informative facts, details and kid-friendly pictures. Wonderful illustrations.

Good information,however the book fell apart the second time it was read.
