This gate is very sturdy. It is no lightweight. I am 59 yrs old and disabled, but i can move it if I fold the end panel. It folds in both directions because it has 360 directional hinges which are amazing.So well built and beautiful, like adding a piece of furniture to our home.After the Christmas Tree comes down I will be using it to gate her into the kitchen when people come to visit. Autumn weighs 50 lbs and when she bumps into it it stands without falling as long as it is in a curved position.And....the walk through gate is the best!So glad I spent the money on this even though finances are pinched.Autumn is in training to becoming my helper dog so this gate was a necessary step in her training.

I use this to give my cats a separate space from the puppy who likes to use them for chew toys. I blocked off a sunroom just for the cats and the large puppy (45 pounds and growing) respects the fence and can’t get through to the cats food, litter box, or sleeping areas. I absolutely love having a gate instead of having to step over the fence. The only comment I have on the gate is that the knob on top of the latch loosens easily so I have gotten in the habit of tightening it every time I go through it. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of in case it comes loose. The wood color is beautiful and rich looking. Friends have commented that they want to get the same fence because they like it so much. It comes with extra hinges in case you want to hook it to the wall. Mine is extended almost completely so I have one end behind the dog crate and the other hooked to a handle on a piece of furniture to prevent the puppy from “accidentally” moving the fence.

This is a very nice product. I was not the best solution for our purpose (preventing chocolate lab and a wiley Aussie from getting upstairs) but that's not a problem with the gate. Love the maneuverability and the style. And that it isn't a permanent thing, can easily be folded up and stored when not needed. Tip... if you want it stationary in a configuration that needs some stability, use heavy duty Velcro on the bottom of the legs. … works great.

This product is a perfect example of why Amazon is such a threat to retailers. If I had gone to a pet store, this gate would have been marked $200 each and I would NEVER pay that. This gate is for a recent Humane Society adoption. She's a tiny 12 pound min pin mix and we already had a 95 pound Lab and 65 pound Pit and 3 cats. Well, this sassy little thing could jump out the cat door and run as fast as a Jack rabbit. We put up some plastic gates we already had. My mom was having problems stepping over the gate to get to the laundry. So I shopped for about a month before settling on this. So happy with this purchase. Easy, light, durable, convenient built in door, very classy.

This is a very high quality wooden gate. Beautiful and heavy duty. Exactly what we looking for help with safety in our house. It can stand freely without attach to the wall. We like the height and there is a gate. We use it to block the pets two dogs and 7 months old son away to the fireplace for now. It’s easy move around, wide enough to close off many areas in the house like kitchen, stairs, dinning room. It’s easy to set up and take down whenever it need. With the excellent quality of this wooden gate, I expected it will last for many years to come. The price is great, and worth every penny of it.

I loved the gate at first, and it looks great, but the door loosened with use and my Morkie can open the door with his little paw at the bottom because it loosened so much over several months. He also learned to push it out of the way at the walls and slip past. It will keep dumber, less active animals in. Need to tie gate shut and block the sides at the walls.

Amazing! We have 4 dogs, one of which is a new puppy who has accidents. We use this across our 60” doorway and the dogs can’t get through. Very durable and the gate to walk through works very well. I was nervous it would get knocked over easily with it being so wide but it works great and is very sturdy. It also folds up nicely for easy and compact storage. It’s a beautiful color and looks great in our home.
