Heavy duty! Very sturdy! Water tight!So many products that I buy online lately are less than expected. So often they oversell and underdeliver. The result is that I'm kind of underwhelmed by my purchase. These are NOT an example of that. These are solid, well built, waterproof, and easily support the connection of two 10awg cables, one of which is a full half inch in diameter.I am thrilled with this purchase.

I consider this the Cadillac for this type of product. It's well made and works better than any other brand we've tried.

This works so great plugging my outside chicken fans and heaters. it is a serious electric protector. A must have for outdoor farm.

Had to replaced the ends on my extension cords, this unit is large enough to encase the plugs providing a waterproof connection.

These things are impressive. Despite their heavy-duty nature, they're easier to open and close than all of the lighter-weight products I have previously purchased.I'm not using them outdoors, so I can't speak to the weatherproofing. That said, I'd be tremendously surprised if they were perfect for the task.

I bought this to protect my globe light plug on a new set of lights after our last set's plug was ruined by water after a storm. I hung it horizontal on my light wire. This performed very well after a few rainy days. The interior stayed dry. The plastic case is hardy and the interior rubber is well insulating. I'm very pleased.

This product is of the finest design, material and workmanship I have yet found to support the engaging of two electrical cords for outside use. I installed this on a outside pergola to use with a wet rated fan which has a 9/ft. attached cord, but needed to connect to a 15/ft. heavy duty outside electrical cord for hookup with my outside receptacle box. Mounted on side of upper support with zip ties and subject to some pretty nasty rain storms lately and this product just doesn’t leak period! At first finding this I felt it was a little pricey, but considering you get two and now I see how well they are made, definitely worth every penny.
