Mens Elon Leather Smart Series Dress Casual Oxford Shoe

I wear a 10.5 M shoe. Rockport, Hush Puppy, New Balance, Sketchers, Under Armor and other shoe brands fit perfectly. The Dockers Elon Smart Series Oxford shoe would have fit perfectly too if it were not for my heal slipping due to the unusually wide opening. It did not matter how tight I laced the shoe. If you have thicker than normal ankles, this shoe might work for you. So, for the warning, there is a whopping 20% restocking fee and you have to pay for return shipping. It cost me $26 to try on this shoe which is 37% of the cost of the $70 shoe. Don't purchase from 3rd party vendors without checking there return policy carefully. Amazon.com, Zappos.com, and ShoeBuy.com all have free return policies for shoes with some exceptions.

The design of these shoes is unique -- well, at least for me it is -- kind of a slip on with a string-tie overlace. First, the shoes are lined in what seems to be padded fabric and there is no tongue. Rather, these shoes have an internal half sock as part of the lining. Therefore, I had difficulty putting these shoes on over socks without significantly loosening the laces and stretching the interal sock openings. Following this, I had to adjust the foot socks and shoe socks in order to eliminate any bunching. Once this was accomplished, I was able to tighten the laces and test the shoes. Like most Dockers -- they fit just fine -- 9M is my size.Oh, by the way, these shoes could go with just about anything -- casual to dress. Very classy look.

Purchased my normal size 12 and this shoe runs large. Also the cuff around the ankle feels awkward and my feet started to sweat after less than 5 minutes of wear, so I returned immediately.

very low quality this pair of shoes I have for 4 months and I used them very little and they no longer work I do not advise you to buy them, this brand would have to have high quality not to sell garbage like this

Attractive and Comfortable. Perfect for all day comfort. I spend about 10 hours a day on my feet. These shoes are extremely comfortable and help me survive the day without fatigue. Clean, fashionable look. Inner lining is very comfortable with no "break-in" period. I highly recommend.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. Love the built-in sock and soft cushiony and insole. Beautiful design. I'm so happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

These are nice shoes. I've been wearing them for quite some time now and they haven't let me down. Nice enough to wear to work and still casual enough to wear out. I would say for me personally, you can not wear these shoes with normal dress socks (the super thin ones), the shoes become super uncomfortable but my socks are a lil thicker (I would say a step down from boot socks) and the shoes pair nicely with them. The leather doesn't take long to break in either. They're great for me and what I use them for.

The shoes are very comfortable and are a vast improvement in that regards versus my other more traditional dress shoes. The reason for the 3 star rating is the appearance. They look more like spray painted plastic than leather. Frankly, they look so cheap that I am embarrassed to wear them. The shape is also very clunky. Look much wider than they are.
