I ordered Soft Black, because I thought Dark Brown would look too brown on my VERY dark brown (basically black) eyebrows. When I received it, I thought it looked pretty grey. I was nervous about it.I got an email from Marie-Jose after receiving my order to make sure I was satisfied. I expressed my concern and within a day I had a response from one of the owners, I think. He went ahead and sent me the Dark Brown powder to try out and see which I liked better, and suggested that I could mix the colors.So the difference between the two is very subtle. I liked the shade I got when I blended the colors, but for time's sake, that isn't something I can manage daily. I have been using the Dark Brown, and I absolutely love it. (I love both, though!) I think it is more my shade, and doesn't appear as light as it seems when you look at the powder. I think a lot of that has to do with the brush. The provided eyebrow brush is amazing! I love how even if you put a lot on it, it comes out light and smooth--never overpowering like other eyebrow brushes have done to me. I love everything about this product and my customer service experience, and I will definitely be a recurring customer. Thank you! :)

I'm blonde. I'm not talking wheat blonde or caramel blonde or golden blonde, I'm talking /white enough to be albino/ blonde. The hair on my head is white. The hair on my body is white. My eyelashes and eyebrows are, predictably, white. When I don't fill in my eyebrows (which are actually really thick), it looks like I don't have eyebrows at all. Some people can get away with that. I can't.I am doubly unfortunate to have a ghost-white complexion with pink, pink, PINK undertones. Nothing better than invisible eyebrows in a beet-red face, right? I have a ridiculously difficult time finding brow products that that /don't/ look orange against my skin when applied; pencils and powders designed for "blondes" are always either too warm or too dark for me. Sometimes both. This is the first thing I've ever used that actually looks right! The powder is a scary shade of grey, but when I brush it on, it's perfect: not too warm, not too cool, very natural. If you're someone who wants super duper bold eyebrows, this is not the product for you. However, if you're like me and want your eyebrows to be visible (in a soft, "I could have grown these" sorta' way), I would recommend this to the max!As far as longevity goes...? By itself, it doesn't last long. I'm oily-skinned and I've got a boyfriend who likes to wrestle and hug in the worst possible ways for makeup (my face gets squished to his chest or the bed or the carpet a lot, haha; that's what I get for loving a super physically affectionate martial-artist <3), but for someone who has dry-skin and DOESN'T smoosh their faces to things, I'd imagine it lasts just fine. I just slick a clear mascara overtop the powder when I'm finished applying, let that dry, and BAM, I've got brows that'll stay on all day without moving. Mostly.

I read all the reviews for this color (soft charcoal) and this product before settling on this color. My skin is fair and my hair is now white. My eyebrows have always been very blonde but the tint was an ash blonde & white blonde mix, never brown (what was called dishwater). I HATE, loathe and despise most eyebrow colors because no matter what they say, they always have some red in them (or too much brown) for the blonde color. I started to go for the ash blonde but took a chance on this one first. I LOVE IT. It is a very light greyish tint that is almost a bit taupe and it is perfect. NO red. NO orange. NO brown. Not too much grey that it doesn't match my skin tone. Exactly what I wanted. I can go darker if I want but one swipe gives me the color I need (I also use it with an eyebrow wax). The brush works great for me but I have an eyebrow set that I purchased from Amazon that works great  Real Techniques Cruelty Free Brow Set, Includes: Brow Scissors, Angled Tweezers, Brow Brush, Brow Spoolie, Brow Highlighting Brush, and Case . I may try the ash blonde some other time because this is a great product and I'm curious!

I use this product to fill in my eyebrows. I actually don't have anyof my own eyebrows left ... I had them microbladed on about a year ago. It was one of the best things I ever did. But of course, microblading will fade, and it will probably fade unevenly. This is a great product for filling in the faded areas. The color is great , just the gray I wanted. The little brush that comes with it is pretty useless... but it might be okay for travel.

As a light blonde who does not want light blonde eyebrows, this works out nicely.I purchased the Ash Blond eyebrow color to complement my platinum blonde hair. (The criteria for color I was looking for was something with less warm tones and something that would be a few shades darker than my hair color so people could actually see I have eyebrows.)Oftentimes when I purchase eyebrow powder for my hair color, it has WAY too much red/brown in it and I really don't care for the color. I've tried this out and the color is far closer to a neutral smokey grey. The amount is just right as well. It doesn't apply so dark that it appears unnatural and you also don't need to worry about trying to brush it on over itself half a dozen times just to get a hint of a color.The kit comes with the disc of color as well as a small angled brush to apply it. It order to get it to last the longest on my face, I use an eyebrow wax solution that came with a different eyebrow kit I bought several months ago. It clings well to it and lasts the whole day. I don't swim much or live in a humid environment so I haven't been able to see how well it works in those conditions. As for what type of eyebrows I have, they are more filled in and "fine" in texture.

Have tried lots of powders for my ashy brows. The 'Putty' colour is the best match I have found! I'm fair skinned and have ashy eyebrows. Depending on how light or dark I colour my hair, I can still make it match.

I've been using a branded eyebrow powder kit for a while which wasn't the best colour, almost leaving an orangey tint when it was supposed to be dark brown. I have really dark brown hair and this powder is perfect, my eyebrows actually look the way they should. Will definitely buy again and would highly recommend to other folk.

I have very dark hair but now that I'm in my 40's I want definition on my brows without the marker pen effect that you often see sported these days! This works brilliantly on my dark brows to just give that bit of polish without looking garish. Very happy and though quite pricey for a single use product, worth it for the colour and last-ability.

Excellent product, just the right shade for greying eyebrows. Will order more !
