SUPER linty - at first.
The people who said this is extremely linty and sheds fabric everywhere in the washing machine are 100% right.BUT there's an easy solution for that for a set a 4 cotton bathroom rugs that you get at a bargain price.I washed all 4 together (just the rugs, not mixed with other clothes), yanked them out of the washer and spent a total of 5 minutes out in the backyard shaking out as much of the loose fabric as possible. There was a bunch of linty material! Then I put them in the dryer.I did it again, washing them in the quick cycle (by this time, no shaking was necessary - the linty stuff was pretty much washed out) and dried them again. Now they're ready to be used and tossed in the load with other laundry.Despite the 2 step process, these rugs are exactly what I was looking for: low cost, all cotton, small, you can use both sides, absorbent without that rubber backing. I love them!BTW - they did shrink about an inch after the wash/dry cycle. So you're left with 16x23in rugs. Not bad.

Perfect rugs--so glad I ordered these
These rugs were SUCH a good buy. I ordered the pink. I was worried it would be too far to the lavender/blue side of pink based on the photos, but the color is very nice--a true pale baby pink. These are so much more practical than most bath mats because they hold up so much better (I've had others look matted down and gross really quickly and/or disintegrate after only a couple washes). I love that they're reversible. If one starts looking a bit dingy and company shows up, you can just flip it over. Having 4 of them is also great--I love having backups on laundry day. They wash well--I just throw them in with my towels, and they've done fine in warm water and in the dryer too. I've had no trouble with slipping, although my tile is a bit textured, so that may help. I use them as mats for outside the shower, and they dry fast. I also love that they have a sort of vintage (like 1940s) look to them--very cute. Couldn't be happier.

Mellow Yellow
I bought the Dawn Yellow what came were Mellow Yellow and I got to tell you they're more like Screaming Bright Marching Band Gold. With my other Blue mats I feel like I'm in my HS locker room again.FWIW, these are impossible to find at WM now, which is where I bought my first set in much calmer colors. What a Hoot!Requires a sense of humor.

The tag which warns about the product being flamable turns me off.
There are some things I like about this product. The price is inexpensive and there are four mats in the set. However, the thing I hate about it is that each mat has a tag on it which says ""Flamable/Inflamable, U.S. Department of Commerce FF2-70 - Should not be used near sources of ignition". A tag like this makes me nervious and I would be willing to pay more for this item if it didn't bear this tag. I nearly sent it back but I needed the mats and nobody in my family smokes. So I am now using them but I will always be aware of that warning tag.

my favorite little rugs.
I love these little rugs. I have a tile floor and they're just right for by the bed and bathroom. I have pets that sometimes upchuck on them so they're easy to wash. I do not like rugs with backing as they tend to discolor my tile and the backing crumbles. These little rugs are reversible. My tile has a texture to it so they are not slippery. Just wish they were available in lavender and white or cream colors There is a lot of lint in the first couple of washes but not bad after that. So glad I found them on Amazon. The store where I used to get them when out of business.

Love these small floor matts for my bathroom
these little throw rugs are almost just like the ones form my childhood home. Lighter in fabric weight, but still work terrific. Bought several for bathroom floor to step on out of shower, in front of toilet and sink area. These are easy to wash. Not sure why people wrote comments about the lint trap after initial washings. THIS IS NORMAL PEOPLE. Cotton rugs have lint, and a lot of it the first few washings. Natural fibers are better. It does not diminish the rug, nor has it faded. I have washed many times in the past 2 months.

Decent rug
We needed a blue rug for our bathroom, which is small, and these fit the bill well (it's nice that there are four to a pack). They are a little thin, and have no backing, which means they slide around easily. Still, they are soft, and a nice shade of blue. We put a second one out in the living room, and our cat thinks it makes a great bed. Overall, it is a decent purchase, not outstanding, but good for the price.

Love these little rugs
I use these in my bathroom, under the dog's water bowl, on rainy days..... I got the white ones last year. When they start looking dirty, I flip them over! Brand new for a couple more days. Keeps the floor dry around the dog bowl when they're splashing. I lay them in front of doors and sometimes over my existing door mat when it's particularly messy outside. They machine wash really and look as good as new still. Just got the blue ones for the husband's bathroom. They can go right into the laundry with regular clothes as there are no rubber backs. They're small enough that you don't have to wash them separately! Love these things.
