VOLTA Charger 2.0 Cable Set - 5A, Supercharge, Dash Charge, VOOC Flash Charge, Magnetic Universal Cable - 2X USB-C Tips

I so wanted to love this cable. Its convenience truly is unparalleled. But unfortunately, for my Huawei Mate 10 ALP-L29, this cable doesn't fully support SuperCharge for this device. Your mileage may vary, of course. But for me, using the original Huawei power brick that came out of the box with my phone, this cable will seldom actually SuperCharge my phone. Using Ampere to monitor the battery gain, this cable will fluctuate and generally provide between 100-1000 mA of current, usually hovering somewhere around the middle of that range. When plugging in the cable (and/or detaching then reattaching), only about 1 in 6 times will the phone recognize it as SuperCharging. And the cable *is* capable of providing a peak charge in the 1400-1600 mA range, but this is usually in very short bursts from my testing. Even when at 8% battery, plugging in this cable only settled at around 400 mA of charging speed. Contrast this with an immediate and sustained charge in the 1400-1600 mA range, even up to 4000 mA when the battery is lower, with the original Huawei cable. The VOLTA 2.0 cable may work perfectly for other Android devices with less finicky quick charging standards, and even if you have a Huawei phone, the added convenience may make up for the slower charging speed (there's also a chance that maybe my experience was just a one-off incompatibility). Unfortunately though, for my personal device and use case, the pros don't yet outweigh the cons for this cable to be my daily driver. Keep up the great work though, VOLTA! Hopefully, I can hop in on version 3.0.

Neat product. Just not particularly sturdy. I busted a tip 4 months into being in my phone.

Seems like a good idea, but it just doesn't work at all. I tried a few different power bricks and it made no difference.
