This is just a toy or decoration
With the price of this kit we all expect chips, difficult fits and subpar materials, all of which you can work with. But does that make it bad? No, that makes it as expected. What makes it bad is that they put little effort into the frets. They aren’t spaced correctly meaning you can’t properly tune the instrument, it doesn’t sound super bad but it is noticeable. Yes, I wasn’t expecting quality materials but I was at least expecting an instrument that plays, not a toy. I can buy real ukuleles for not much more than this and I am regretting not doing that. I just thought it’d be fun to design my own. Only reason it doesn’t have zero stars is because I did enjoy designing my new decorative ukulele which will never be played.

DIY literary meant redo everything yourself
*Instructions terrible!*Strings not tunable!*Neck and body do not line up.*Had to re-drill holes, due to being misalignedAnd sadly can not truly send it back because it is already completed and painted, etc.

Horrible purchase and experience
These parts didn’t match the instructions- pre drilled holes were missing and others were not aligned properly. Missing a piece to attach strings. Can’t even play it. Was not worth the money. Cool idea but executed poorly.

Great gift for teens.
Bought it for my sister as a gift. I only open the box the check whether we have everything, did not help her to assemble. She is busy with the school now so could not assemble it yet. However, she loves the gift! Haha.
