Best money I’ve spent in a while…I thought it was kinda pricey…figured I’d return; I didn’t think I would need it, but Hurricane Ian proved me wrong! It’s a long way from my backyard to my fridge & freezer…perfect length & color coding helped when plugging in appliances…sure not to overload! Ran a portable AC off it too! Also I pressed with the quality, highly recommend…even if you don’t need it today, you will be thankful, if you should! Peace!

Allows more plugs

Maybe a premonition but had a blackout in Mass not 2 weeks after ordering this and it worked great. Heavy winds and rain and held up perfectly. I did however cover the breaker assembly with a plastic bag and clamps because it was nasty out but I was glad to have it for the 10 hours I ran it. Ran on a 6500 watt Generac at about 50-60% capacity. 2 fridges, some lights and a pellet burning stove. Definitely not sorry that I ordered it!!

Toggle switches are not lighted when turned on

Worked great with a gas generator during the Feb. 2021 ice storm that impacted a lot of the US. I ran the generator for 7 days out of our 9 day power outage and I used this cable to power our essentials like the refrigerator, lights, phone chargers, and a heater. It worked great and helped us stay warm during a dangerous weather event. Feels nice and durable and has its own breaker.

Happily, cable met expectations. As interim solution, while waiting for electrician to integrate generator to house wiring, this cable will allow safe and efficient power distribution to selected appliances and device during outages. Not looking forward to the reasons to need to use the cable (POST-hurricane) but glad to have it on-hand just the same.

Tried it for the first time and the generator breaker trips even though nothing is plugged into any of the 4 outlets. Seems to be a short in the cable tripping the breaker as anything else plugged directly in is fine.ADDED: Had cord checked by electrical engineer. There is a dangerous short in the cord, beware!

Product shipping was really fast but when package came one of the ends on the twist lock was bent so I bent it back hopeing it does not break off after time.
