Well Made
This is my 2nd Nordic pan purchase and will be looking out for more! The first cake I made is a strawberry shortcake, using genoise sponge. I brush pan with melted butter and dust with flour. Cake slid out easily. The cake browns a lot and thought maybe the heat is too high. So I bake the second cake, a matcha genoise. This time I brush it with butter only. I reduce the oven temperature to 160C and shorten baking time by 3 mins (30 mins). Cake is also very brown on the outside. Just had the cake, and yes both cakes are on the dry side. I will make a 3rd one in this pan soon, and am going to reduce the temperature slightly and shorten the baking time by a 2 minutes and see how it goes and without oiling the pan. I feel that the pan does not need oiling. I clean the pan with water and an IKEA brush (that costs a $) without any soap. Let's see how it goes.
