Stevia Extract 8 Oz - 100% Pure - No Fillers

I recently found out that the KAL brand of stevia I was using was no longer pure stevia. So, my search began for a new pure stevia extract powder. I bought this brand because it claimed to be pure with no additives and the price was great compared to what I was paying for a 3.5 jar of the other brand. But, I am having to use twice as much of the Radiant brand to get the same sweetness I was getting from the KAL brand. So, really I am not saving any money on this large jar. I will continue using this until it is gone, but my search for stevia will continue.

Pure Stevia. Nothing else. Much more potent than what you buy in the store. It's hard to describe just how little you need to use. I began using way too much and have learned to err on the side of less. When sweetening a big tumbler full of hot green tea, i basically coat the spoon in a dusting if Stevia and allow just a bit of thickened sweetner to build up on the edge of the spoon. That gives the tea perfect sweetness. Any more and it gets bitter. The goal is to add as much as you need and no more - which is surprisingly hard to do. I recommend adding it in very gradually as you taste what you're sweetening because it's so easy to add way too much. This is pure, super finely granulated Stevia which is exactly what i was looking for. It's so finely powdered that i can sometimes taste the sweetness while getting some on my spoon - and that's while breathing thru my nose!

This stevia is a little hard to take on its own. I've taken to mixing it with another all-natural sweetener to make it palatable.

A nice alternative to sugar, the only thing I might mention and this is my taste only is that I can detect some kind of aftertaste, whereas sugar would be more preferable but probably not as healthy.

This kind of stevia had a bitter after taste to me. KAL Pure brand or NOW are much better, I think.

I bought nu naturals for several years until they changed their supplier of stevia due to FDA requirements. ( I called the customer service representative and asked why it was so different.) After trying several different brands I found this one. I've bought and used several canisters of this stevia. It's not as sweet as the old nu naturals brand but there is no after taste that is associated with others that I've tried. The price cannot be beat for the quality of the extract. Great product. I'll continue to purchase as long as it stays just the way it is.

FINALLY I have found a pure stevia that tastes good without any fillers. I used to use Nu Naturals by the pound but the sweetness was not consistent and it had maltodextrin filler. The Radiant stevia extract is potent and comes with a tiny little scoop. This will last me years! It is a little resistant to dissolve but with a little coaxing with my spoon, it will dissolve in my coffee which is what I use it for most of the time.

I thought the price was great, but the taste was awful. I returned it for a refund without any problems.
