Conversations on Defending Jacob: A Novel by William Landay

Such a good book on it's own but for group discussion excellent. It's a "What you do if..." book with no easy answer. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful book. Well written. Page-turner. Features relationships, intrigue, and mystery. I wondered if the book was based on a true story. I will search out other books by this author.

No no no did not understand gormat

I read this book a couple of years ago, and noticed today that it's new on the Kindle best sellers. It's a favorite of mine and I've recommended it several times ! Well written to the last climactic page. A very human story.

I was not prepared for this page turner. It is gut wrenching and unsympathetic to the reader and the characters. It feels like the very worst that can happen in the human experience. I wish I could say I hated it.

It was a bit hard to get into but then it was impossible to put it down ! Nicely written with a twist at the end. Very good read

This was a readable page-turner. Personally, I had some trouble believing the narrator, a first for me. I did not trust his account of the reasons for his actions. His narcissism in the last imagined scene left me with a bad taste in my mouth for the book.
