Berkley Trilene® Micro Ice®, Clear Steel, 6-Pound Break Strength, 110yd Monofilament Fishing Line, Suitable for Freshwater Environments

Trilene is a good brand. I used this line on several tip-ups in the north woods of Wisconsin. Conditions were rough. The temperature frequently dipped below 0 and there were 30+ inches of ice to drill through. The line wasn’t an issue at all. It never froze to the ice or gave us trouble. Even in those extreme conditions it still managed to pull in a 24” pike through the ice (8 lb test)

Don't put the line on your spool. Just use it for a leader.

This spool will do exactly one ice reel. It's high quality panfish line and worked just as well in murky water as it did in crystal clear water.

Great Line for the cold days here in Idaho. I generally fish with 6lb line, not a whole lot of perch or other panfish in our area so I am mainly fishing for trout. This line is still sensitive enough for me to detect the light bight, yet still strong enough not to break when reeling in a nice sized fish.

Worked Great for me

Respooled 4 ice fishing rods with Trilene MicroIce and it is a very Smooth line. Very flexible and worked extremely well even in -20C conditions. 6lb test was used and the biggest fish we caught was a 10lb Northern Pike. Definitely love Berkeley's products.
