I have a booty and a waist so I took other reviewers advice and sized up by 2. These fit great and I’m glad I did go bigger because there would’ve been serious muffin-fluffin if I hadn’t. I have about a half inch of cinching (the built in waist tie is a nice touch). That being said, they are lined, thick, and substantial enough for water-sports. The legs do gape a little on me so I’ll probably wear something underneath for modesty. The side ties are cute and once you get them adjusted it’s easy to snip off the extra length and tie bows as an accent. The inseam is a decent length and they don’t ride up. They are mid-rise. I’m 90% happy with them. Would’ve been five stars if I didn’t need a calculus degree to figure out the sizing.5’10”/180lbs/US14 for reference. I ordered the 2XL.

these are so stylish and cute, and i love the extra long lace, but they are just not for me. They are rather unstructured, so if you have extra weight, no matter how loose the ties are, you will be very unhappy with the way these look on you. You will spill out the sides. After purchasing a similar fully open sides that lace up in scoop bottom that fit and work great, I wanted to try the boy shorts version, but these just didnt work at all. Oh well. FWIW, the size chart from the vendor is very accurate, and quality was not an issue at all, it was the wrong style for me. Back they go.

These don't ride too much and they look cute on. The only annoying thing is washing them. You will either need to take the strings out (which I don't) or expect almost half of it to work itself out by the time they are dried. A lingerie bag might help keep this from happening.

It’s a little big, especially in the legs. The inseam is longer than the outseam and that is Little backwards.... the strings are SOOOO long. I cut at least 10 inches off each string and can still tie bows. I ordered a 2x.

You get what you pay for. Strings were crazy long, I’ll probably only wear if it’s last resort.

Great coverage, thick material, and lined well. I'd order more if other colors were available. Order just one size up. I'm a large, ordered xxl according to chart and what others said and it's loose. One size up would be perfect I think.

Wasn't a fan. They just didn't look right or fit right. Too big.
