Can this unit be charged with a usb as well or just solar energy?

Depends on what you mean by "charge via solar."  The solar cell's maximum (absolute maximum, 100% efficiency and unobstructed engagement) charge rare is 180 mA/hr.  At 10,000 mA, you're talking 55 hours, 38 minutes of direct, high intensity, unobstructed and optimized light.  Considering the average North American summer day produced 7.5 hours like this, with a total of 15.5 hours of any light...you're talking 2 to 3 weeks to charge the piece of crap.

How long does it take to be fully charged by sunlight?

The quoted 180mA/hr is way too low to be useful. There is another model that is barely more expensive and since it has more solar cell surface area, they say it charges from sunlight at 6A/hr (which is 6000mA/hr):

That's 33 times faster. Even if you think you would never need to charge it via sunlight, I'd go with the one that is 33X faster just in case of an emergency. Then at least you would have the option.

As people have pointed out, you won't get the maximum charging rate out of any solar cell unless it is in intense, direct sunlight, with the light hitting the panel at 90 degrees. Usually that will not be the case. So let's say you are getting 50% of the maximum rate. That's 90mA/hr from this model, and 3A/hr (equal to 3000mA/hr) from the other model. The other model is still 33 times faster, and always will be, assuming they are both in the same lighting conditions.

Question 3

Have yet to see any solar battery pack this size actually charge to full in bright sunlight. Can owners confirm it charges to full and how long?

I have never let my power pack discharge to empty. My power pack has had 3 lights lit and it took 2 weeks before the 4th light became solid. The power pack is advertised as the solar panel is only meant to charge the power pack in an emergency.

Question 4

Does the solar panel actually work or just for decoration? How do I know if it's charging the internal battery?

There are 5 little blue lights to show it's charging. I'm hoping the solar will be a plus.  I'm not sure how long it will take to charge the device in the window. Our days are getting shorter. It's in the window now. It was charged when I got it. It worked great. Charged my galaxy s9 plus in an Otterbox, I hope this helps.
