Works fine. Had to cut two rings off opening. I feed crumbles, when neck fills with with dust, I use a paint stick to rake the dust back to get the crumbles to feed out.

Like with the waterers, we've been through so many different styles of feeder, and settled on these. The other ones always ended up with a bunch of wasted food, were TERRIBLE for letting water in them, and didnt' hold nearly as much as this..This can hold an entire bag of feed, and i have yet to notice ANY food on the ground from this, which is AMAZING considering the massive waste i was seeing from most other designs. I use them for everything from full grown turkey to chickens who just got all their feathers. Get this and their waterer first and you won't have to replace it with something else. I wish we started with this one!

Very large feeder. It holds a big bag of chicken feed. I cut off a little more of the bottom opening where the feed empties out into the feeder part. We live in a very humid environment and I didn’t want the feed clogging the hole. Heavy duty plastic and Very satisfied with this feeder.

The only thing I can say is don’t use this for pelleted feed! The majority of the feed will not come out the bottom! I have yet to find something to help me cut a bigger hole in the bottom so pellets can come through- preferably without cutting myself like I had with a pocket knife.. we only fill this full of crumble. Works pretty good! Keeps water out and feed dry. Just keep an eye out on chickens who will roost on the top.. have yet to figure out a way so they won’t roost on top.

I Really like this feeder. It holds a 50 lb bag. I don't have waste with it. They birds can't scratch it out, and it stays dry.Happy with it

We LOVE our feeder. We did have to modify it a little bit for pellets but couldn't be happier. We can put a whole bag of food in at 1 time and not have to worry. Would highly recommend for anyone who has ducks or chickens.

Although this does hold a large amount of feed, it is simply not designed to feed many at once. The leg supports get in the way and further reduces the number of birds with the divider tray. You might get 6 birds around it at once. I saw the legs being a potential weak point so created a sling to suspend the feeder, this seemed better and reduced the worry of it getting tipped or a leg buckling at the connecting point. The maker should just create a hanging version that has a wider tray/pan that allows more birds around it. Other negative reviews mentioned that it doesn't allow the feed to flow, this was because they didn't cut the feed container/bottle to suit the type of feed they are using. Larger pelleted feed needs more space so you cut the neck.
