Itazura Na Kiss Volume 1 (ITAZURA NA KISS GN) Paperback – November 17, 2009

I don't k ow if it's just my version that's cut off but it was good non the less and I enjoyed it

I love this manga. I have read it more than one and every time I love it even more! This is a good manga to read and reread.

I am a fan of Korean Dramas and had seen the K-Drama Playful Kiss. Afterwards, I found out that Playful Kiss was based off of this comic book. I also saw that the Japanese did a TV rendition of this comic called Itazura Na Kiss: Love in Tokyo. I think there is also a Taiwanese TV show also based on this comic because it is THAT popular. So, I was curious as to what the comic books had that would make it spawn 3 TV Shows. This is a very good comic book, and of course the first I've owned. There isn't any type of usual "comic book action" that you see in the states, but it does have a very nice romance plot, it's very thick for a comic book, and you read it from the back cover to the front, which takes some getting used too. Still, it was fun enough that I think I will probably end up buying the next in the series to see if the shows stuck close to the comics.

The manga is obviously slightly different from the anime, but it is so full of heart and fun! Highly recommend reading!

I'm a HUGE fan of this manga. Truly romantic. It can get annoying at some points when they take long to get together, but it's an excellent comic besides that!

When I first heard of Itazura na Kiss I really didn't think I'd like it, because I hate stupid doormat heroines and Kotoko seemed like she'd be one from the story description. I was really surprised to find out she wasn't like that at all. True, she's stupid when it comes to schooling, but her heart and will are so strong, and her smarts about life grow so much that by the end of the series she's wiser than many of the characters. The hero Naoki is so very unlikeable at first. But he too grows, with Kotoko's help.And that's what I love most about this series: it's a true love story, a meeting of two people who couldn't be more different, but whose strengths and weaknesses compliment each other such that they are the perfect couple. Not perfect in that it's sunshine and roses, but in that they grow because of their differences, and can reach their bests because of that.A couple of people have mentioned that the series is unfinished. I think it's only fair to add that while this is true, please don't think that the romance is unresolved. It is completely resolved, and the story cuts off later on after that. But if anyone yearns to see the ending as the author wanted it, it's possible to see it in the anime. Before she died, the author had told her husband how she wished the series to end, and he gave the ending to the makers of the anime so her whole story would be told as intended. It's worth looking up, as is this manga if you're someone who loves romance.

This manga is great! I'm a nativer Spanish speaker and I couldn't find it in Spanish but the English version is amazing!!

Dieser Manga ist schon älter, aber noch immer der Knaller wie ich finde. Kaoru Tada ist auch verantwortlich für solche Geschichten wie die von Aishite Knight (hier bekannt als Rock'N'Roll Kids), daher habe ich mir diesen Manga zugelegt um ihn anzutesten. Er ist unterhaltsam und sehr witzig.Kotoko ist total verknallt in Naoki. Blöd nur, dass Kotoko nicht die hellste Kerze auf der Torte ist, Naoki hingegen ein Genie und bildhübsch. Noch dazu kann Naoki irgendwie alles und ist arrogant. Schnell merkt er, dass Kotoko auf ihn steht, wie alle Mädchen. Es gibt nur einen Unterschied, Kotoko ist hartnäckig... immer wieder gerät sie durch ihre Liebe zu Naoki in bescheuert-lustige Situationen.

J'ai vu les dramas avant de lire le manga et je dois avouer que je suis fan de cette série moi qui ne lit plus de shôjo depuis longtemps, j'ai découvert celui là avec beaucoup d'amusement j'adore le couple kotoko et irie vraiment une histoire à ne pas rater !!!!
