Excellent light bulbs! For years, we have used a timer for our porch lights, but it’s always a pain to adjust when daylight savings time changes. We decided to try these instead, and they work perfectly. We have a light on either side of our double front doors, and these lights are just what we needed. Not too bright - we don’t want to blind anyone standing at our door, it bright enough to illuminate the front porch. Very pleased!

At first, I wasnt sure if these were gonna work because when I tried other types, they would turn on for a minute or two before they went out if installed during the daylight. These did not. So I had to wait until it was getting dark before I knew if they actually worked. They work great. So far, so good. I use mine for my front porch light. It does what it says.

I wanted a dusk to dawn bulb to replace the timer we had for a lamp in our living room bay window. The bulbs I found in stores were much too bright and glaring and the "daylight" color was awful. I found these and am happy with them. The dusk to dawn feature works well- it only gets confused during a very bad thunderstorm when it will flicker. I don't know how long the bulb will last but the box included 2 so I am not too worried. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because even though it is supposed to be warm white color it is not as warm as other warm white LED bulbs I have. But overall I am very happy with this bulb- especially now that I need to readjust the timers so frequently.

I wanted the protection and peace of mind when coming home late of a lighted porch and garage but leaving them on nonstop was wasteful. These bulbs are ideal. They are on automatically at dusk and off at dawn.

The light bulb worked great on a post in our back yard for approximately a month. Now, for the past3 nights, it just blinks like it's trying to communicate in morris code

I love these for porch lights that don't have the dusk to dawn feature. You don't have to go out and buy a fixture to make your older lights dusk to dawn. I love the soft white rather than the brighter lights.

This dusk to dawn bulb does the desired job of lighting my carport address light. Despite being inside a fixture, it reliably comes on at dusk and off at dawn. The 40W equivalent light is all that is needed for this purpose, as I found a 60W equivalent to be too bright. Previously I had a complicated programmable smart home system to control the light with the use of an internet hub. I found that my only programming had been dusk to dawn control, so this is a simpler, much less expensive controller.

These bulbs are supposed to last for 10-15 years however mine quit after 12 MONTHS. Only used in evenings started blinking (no dimmer/good connection). Internal fault. Company chose not to respond to repeated emails.Buyer beware!
