I have only been using this wallet for a week and the edges are discoloring. The material they use is not durable and I expect this wallet won't last very long. Would not buy again!

How could the smoothness be a deterrant you ask. I carry my wallet in my back pocket and wear levis every day. Levis seem to be designed for bill folds (what most people mistakenly call wallets) that are small. A smooth wallet (something not requiring folding of paper money), in my circumstance, tends to work itself out when I'm seated. Have found it on the floor after arising from a coffee shop chair and from a recliner. For someone who carries their wallet in a deeper pocket (such as a jacket), it shouldn't be an issue. Maybe I just have an odd shaped body. Well designed wallet features. Will look for something just the same with perhaps a woven outer surface. YMMV

It's a very attractive wallet, I'll give it that, but after two days carrying this wallet all day through work and home, the leather on the outside is already in rough shape, i mean it looks 10 years beaten, stitching still holding but the wallet looks aweful. I think if you wear a sports jacket and use the inner pocket you'd be fine, but if you plan on putting in your pants pocket, well I hope yours holds up better than mine after 2 days use.

Nice looking wallet!! The wallet is even lined with one of those things, so your credit cards can't get scanned by would be thieves!! It looks like the picture. The leather feels soft.

Overall I like the wallet. The card slots are a bit tight fitting, so it makes pulling the card out, a bit tough.

Ok anyone that knows me always says I love amazon and writing reviews is a nice touch because if it's an honest review someone wrote you know what your getting. Well here's my honest review. It's a nice wallet, not bad at all but for me hardly has enough spots for all the cards my wife has me owning lol every stores discount card, credit cards insurance cards ect. It seems I own more cards as a married man then I ever did single lol So this isn't a bad wallet it just needs a few more pockets or card slots. I like the suede leather field and it's not your hardcore biker wallet but more your long dress wallet or casual wallet hmm is that a real thing or did I make that up (casual wallet) LOL Either way take it easy with it and you'll enjoy it..

This nicely crafted long and slender wallet is made of smooth leather. Holds around 12-16 cards & has 3 different cash holding sleeves. Nice to separate spending $ from receipts with plenty cash storage. Identification front sleeve with a thumb pull window. Push right hand underneath the card & lick left index for a better grip. Unless you have deep pockets you're going to need a fanny pack Mister. I use a small over the shoulder bag. Pack a pocket with plastic bags to help lessen the impact. Lost this wallet outta' my back pocket. Got to the store and rung up ready to pay. Good Lord, I've lost my wallet. Was the First time carrying in back pocket. This has never happened before. Pedaled 2 miles home in record time. Saw nothing at home and quickly began the slow uphill against the wind trek back. Was thinking I've got some reserved prayers, as normally others get mine. After looking left from there I saw a strange piece of trash on the side of the road. Not a tire track over & was on a dry spot. Michigan roads are lumpy with filled in patches of tar and stone. Thank you Jesus I remembered. Still intact. As I stood up to gain momentum my shirt must have raised with me & pulled the new wallet out. Think I'm going to cut 3" off & hemp string cross stitch it together & cut & move pockets to stagger across each other.

I tried the other (K) brand which is well known, but the stitching was coming apart and they wouldn't warranty it. I took a chance with this brand, reading a few reviews and making a choice. Much better made and genuine leather it is, a nice smell once you open it up out of a great cloth wrapper and gift box. Almost the exact same placement of items as the other wallet, which is a big plus. It doesn't have the zippered pocket, but I'm okay with that, the zipper only adds bulk. I've had it several months now and the only downside I would say, it's very slippery! I had to take wet sandpaper of 2000 grit & a little dab of water, and sand the whole outside of it down, rough up the leather a bit without taking any of the durability away. The pictures show daily use (and a little sandpaper treatment) of several months, sorry I won't show the inside of the wallet as I don't want to pull all the items out. I will buy again once this one wears out!
