Flue liner was a little loose in the adapter,Once tightened and seal it did the job

I had to shorten our flue after the chimney on our house was was rebuilt. I replaced the old fitting, after shortening the flue with this, it was half the price of the original and twice the quality. The holding screws, and ability to tighten by hand, made all the difference.

This products dimensions are slightly off meaning you cant fit it into a 5 inch vitreous pipe if you are cutting it down to size. It might be fine if you are using an uncut vitreous pipe and its got a slightly wider collar but otherwise I found myself wrestling to get it to fit and in the end had to bend and manipulate but still only got half way in. I would have sent back if I had the time. Otherwise it is pretty well built.

Dimension wrong had to cut to make it fit still was difficult .
