Airbrush Nozzle Cleaning Needle Tool

My first impression of this tool is pretty good.1. It’s larger than I’d expect. Comes in at 3.25”2. It has a very nice/ thought out design for the cap. It stays out very well3. This tool is meant to clean a variety of sizes nozzles.4. Some folks are right when they refer to the tip as being very jagged. Mine arrived with both sides having burrs all over. (Nothing to worry tho)I grabbed a piece of untreated “flat” soft wood.(it has to be planned) and I started deburring the tool using the soft wood and after no more than 3-5 minutes it was perfect on all sizes. Just keep in mind the surface geometry and how you want to keep the surfaces looking exactly the same as they did when you bought it. (Meaning you don’t want to mess up the shape of the tool by accident pressing too hard against the wood)After that I was thrilled. I learned a long time ago, a good tool is worth its weight in gold. Treat your tools well, and they’ll threat you well.

Very handy tool for cleaning your airbrush nozzle. Be fprwarned It is very easy to damage the tip so be very gentle when cleaning. Take your time and go slowly. I suggest a good soaking in the appropriate thinner before you use the tool. This will loosen any dried paint then you can ream it out and get the best performance from your airbrush...

It is not really what I was expecting by the description. The delivery was Amazon quality and it arrived as promise but the item does not match the picture exactly. I was expecting a very fine needle type instrument which would be useful in cleaning out the hole. The device I received goes from point to a 1/16" shaft in less then 1/2".and shaped like a triangle....not much of a needle point there to clean with. It looks very well constructed and sturdy but not for cleaning the nozzle, I will keep and try on other parts of my airbrushes.

What I received looks nothing like the photo. It is usable for large paint guns, but for airbrushes it is pretty much useless. The point that is supposed to go into the airbrush tip to clean it is to large to go into the tip. It will just fit into the large end of the tip and will not go through. So you can not clean the tip of an airbrush with it. In fact, if your airbrush tip has much of a buildup of dried paint, this "Cleaning Needle" will probably clog the tip. I bought this because I saw a you tube vid of someone using a tip cleaning needle that looked like this one but is much smaller and would go all the way through the tip to clean it. This is NOT that cleaning needle. Do not buy if you want to clean an airbrush.

This is my 2nd one that purchased the other one is great for cleaning out paint that is in the corners of Diecast cars. This one is only for the airbrush sprayer.

This is just what the airbrush doctor ordered! This is a handy and perfect little tool to get rid of all of that evil that piles up inside the nozzle. It's truly a Godsend. This little device can make the difference between your airbrushing session going nice and smooth to one that can border on being a hellish experience.

I should've just gone to walmart for a dental cleaning brush or whatever they are. This metal thing has a couple problems: the metal used is harder than brass which means it's going to be super easy to damage your nozzle. The other being, the tip of this piece bends easily creating a hook that will groove your nozzle. Works well as a canvas scratcher though.

My husband is forever having trouble with the steam nozzle on his cappuccino machine clogging. I came across this cleaning needle while researching air brush kits. Although this isn't exactly the intended usage it works like a charm. I'm sure it would work just as well for clearing an air brush gun. Same concept after all.
