Prefer the plastic handle to the usual wood. Feels cleaner to me. I use this regularly, coats food well, and it cleans easily in the dishwasher. Gave the extra to my daughter.

I bought due to the color only for basting ribs in BBQ sauce before doing the final broil. It works great, the color is fantastic and no complaints here!

I had the cheap version of the silicone brush (you know, the kind that come 3 in a pack for a few bucks), and let me just say, why have I continued to use them when THIS one is out there? Best silicone brush I've ever seen. I ordered one then liked it so much, I ordered 2 more. My husband uses one for the outside grill so he will have a designated one and I will use the other two for cooking and baking. And since I saw comments before, the top bristle part does NOT come off on any of mine. Love it!

Could have been just a little longer. Otherwise it’s great. One for my space marinades and the other for baking. Love them. Cleans up easily and holds a surprising amount.

THE "NUBS" ON THE ENDS OF THE RUBBER BRISTLES CONVEY EGG-WASH PERFECTLY FOR ME. HANDLES ARE SMALLER TO STORE WELL AND WORK PERFECTLY. NEVER BUY PAINTBRUSH BRISTLE BRUSHES. WHEN CLEANED THE "HAIRS" FALL OFF ONTO THE DOUGH. NO SUCH PROBLEM WITH THESE BRUSHES. EASY TO CLEAN AND DURABLE.
