This was too easy, using the factory mounting points, took less than 10 min start to finish. Works as expected.

Easy to install with the exception of the difficult keepers that hold the tail light in place on my Ram2019 . First remove the screws then spray some soap&water on the keeper.Use two small common flat screw drivers to gently get between the back of the hard plastic plug and the rubber behind it. Giggle the plug and if necessary use pliers to gingerly extract the stem out once you have enough of the plug extracted.Those plugs are a poor design and can be damaged.

Have purchased these times before and they always work great. RAM truck owners, do yourself a favor and get one.

This is a no-brainer to put on your truck if you don't have the tailgate assist. I can't believe my 2019 Ram didn't come with it, but my 2006 Titan had it, so I wasn't going to just let my tailgate slam down every time I opened it. The only pain was getting the plastic blots out to remove the taillight assembly, (they refused to pry out, they ended up tearing apart before they popped out, but the real screws still hold the light in place.Once you get the light out, it takes about 10 seconds to put this lift on, and it works perfectly after that. Follow the directions, do it right, you'll be glad you did.

The media could not be loaded. ALERT!! Pictures shown on this product page do not match how the device will install on newer style Ram 1500s (2019 and up). The new Ram 1500s have built in mounting point inside the driver tail light cavity. The only part you will get from Dee Zee is the actual shock. That is all you need. The product works well, but it could be a little stiffer to dampen the opening a little more. However, it is still an improvement worth doing. I have to say at first I was dissapointed as I got an already opened product with a busted shock. Amazon sent a new one that was indeed brand new sealed package. That one worked. Installation is literally 10 minutes. The most difficult part is removing the plastic fasteners. Please see this video I made showing installation. Forgive my accent as I was little nervous. Thx.

This company is so stupid it's not even funny. I have called 2 separate times to get the same part and they keep telling me the wrong one.
