Hands down worth the price and simple to install
This product was beyond my expectations! Let me say why. My application that I bought the lights for: I have 15 exterior can lights on my house. Conventional bezels leave a 'nice' little 3/8th inch gap around the bulb which the wasps in my area love. Just think...free access to make my hive and torment this homeowner. This bezel (and light) solved this gap issue. It was super easy to install (check), gave a solid surface to keep the wasp/nats/bees/hornets out (check), look great (check) and gave more light than I had before (yea). So to the details: If you open the top of the box, there is a layer of the bulb connecter/transformer on the top layer and right under that is each of the bezels. Good way of transporting the product. It also made it easy to work out of, which was a surprise. I, armed with a long adapter on my vacuum, started to dissassemble the existing configuration. The work itself took less than 2 minutes start to finish, but I had to deal with these creatures that love to zap you, especially when you hang around their nests. So the vacuum did a good job with the ones behind the surfaces, but, I did plenty of jump and run as the wasps came out MAD. My units had a bezel already, so equipped with my favorite long nose pliers, I unset both the hard side, then the easy side, while holding the bezel in place. At least this is what I ended up doing after get dumped with dust, dead wasps, live wasps and other crap that was lying behind the bezel. Then I took my vacuum and slowly lowered one side, sucking as much as I could. This worked pretty well overall. Next, I vacuumed that cavity nicely. I could have put the new unit up at that time, which I did the first couple bezels, but on the third, I heard that scarry zzzzzz sound inside the plate that the light bulb screws into. Not cool. So I unscrewed the wing nut, held the bracket against the edge and grabbed the side of the bracket and started rotating that around so I could see what was inside. YIKES...another mad dash off the step ladder so the wasps wouldn't get me. After a few minutes, back to the vacuum sucking the stuff behind. Turns out that the full 6" base of the recessed housing was filled with about 1" of wasp comb. I mean completely across. With plenty of active larva still in the combs... The bottom line, is for me, taking out all the elements to make sure it is clean was a peace of mind thing...and probably would keep that cavity clear of wasps for a while. Now that the wasp debris was cleared, installation was simple. insert the bulb screw into like a light bulb. Hold the orange plug from the bezel and connect it from the bulb adapter. Compress the first side into the double hook in the recessed light fixture. Compress and insert the other side. Slowly push up on the unit, making sure that the power was out of the way. This probably took less than 2 minutes. After I was done with the first one, I turned on the light and had my wife look at it. She loved them! The units looked like they had enough brightness during the day, and then at night, I think they were a bit brighter than the bulbs that I replaced. I have used LED bulbs for years. The owners of this house still have plenty of halogen and incandescent bulbs, and even a few CFD (fluorescent). So I know I will get some energy efficiency out of these LED bulbs. I will also get consistent light on all the exterior bulbs. The bottom line is these bezels/bulbs are worth the investment. At under $6/bulb with the bezel it is affordable. New bezels themselves are typically over $10/bezel and it is hard to find dimmable LED recessed lighting bulbs for less than $2/bulb. My wife loved the project so much that we intend to replace the interior can lights with these bulbs. So I expect another 2 box order (I think we have 22 cans in our house).

Great Value!
These are very bright and exactly what I wanted! Easy install and came well packaged. About a week after installation one of the lights burned out, but the seller quickly took care of that. Iโm very happy with this product and will be buying for the rest of my house.

Love These LED Downlight
These LED recessed downlights are so easy to install - took me just 40 minutes to do a total of 12 in my dining room, wet bar, and kitchen. Bulk of that time was actually spent on removing the old recessed can covers and baffle trims. Love the color (3000K is just right, not yellow as the 2700K and not as cold as the 4000K. Originally had four BR30 4000K LED bulbs in my dining room ceiling. The coldness just doesn't work in a dining room), the brightness, and the look (will probably look even better if the material were aluminum but that will definitely cost a lot more). Speaking of the brightness, these are actually 12.5W 950LM, not the 13W 1000LM posted on the website. Even at 950LM they are quite bright. Four of them light up my high ceiling dining room just right. It used to be dark, dark no more. A single one in my wet bar ceiling is a bit on the too bright side since the ceiling is lower and area is smaller. I have 7 recessed lights in my kitchen, 6 controlled by one switch and 1 controlled by another switch. We mostly use the single one and this single 950LM provides plenty of light. When we turn on the 6-light group it appears a bit too bright, kind feel like under the sun at noon outside. Guess I can always put a dimmer on the switch if gets to that. Some reviewer complained that the springs were too weak and did not hold the light flush to the ceiling. In my experience the springs are quite strong, to the extent they are not that easy to fit into C-clips. If you don't fit them properly into the C-clip, you'll definitely have the light loose or drooping. Pull the light down to check and make sure springs are properly fit inside the C-clips. Another possibility is ceiling isn't completely flat. My wet bar ceiling has a small bend around the recessed can and that causes a small gap on one side.

Great aside from spring clips
I installed 10 of these in short order. The concept is simple and they look great. Except: The spring clips can pull out of the light itself if the tiny tabs holding them aren't properly in place. Two of my installed lights made a pop a while after the install. In each case one of the clips had pulled out of the light itself and the light was left ajar against the ceiling.. I was able to push one back in and shift the tab to hold it. The other wasn't as easy. The tiny tab snapped off leaving me nothing to hold the clip in place. So I got an old piece of wire and ran it through the light's bracket and clip a few times to keep it from popping out. Easy fix and I'm sure it'll be fine. So easy to rectify, but more attention is needed to secure the clip to the light, esp. since it may be under pressure to pull out depending on your can layout. Yes, I'd still buy these again and recommend them.

Good replacement for old can lights... this is my second box of these lights in the kitchen, which lasted about 3 years due to high use... other areas of the house are still going strong. easy install , too!

Poor Design
Overall I liked the appearance of the lights, but the design of these lights is terrible. 11 of 12 of the lights have since broken on me since installing them in January 2021. The spring clips that hold the light into the recessed can housing are an incredibly poor design. The springs are assembled into a plastic piece that protrudes from the backside of the light trim, and are secured in place with a sealant or caulk of some type. If these spring clips get side loaded even a little bit, the springs get torn free from the caulk, and there is no way to replace it (without recaulking it yourself). I used these lights in a basement remodel. I had no issues during the initial install of the lights after I completed electric and framing. But about half of them broke when I had to remove the lights for the drywall crew. The remaining lights broke either when I went to reinstall them, or when I had to remove them again to paint the ceiling. Now because the clips are broken, the lights sag down from the ceiling and look absolutely terrible. I am somewhat surprised that this company decided to use an adhesive vs. securing it in place with a sheet metal bracket and a screw. A screw and sheet metal bracket are very inexpensive components for a mass produced item. Gluing something in place typically takes time and a human doing the gluing, so its somewhat surprising to see this used over a much more robust assembly method.

Beware! Does Not Fit 5" As Advertized
Does not fit 5" pot lights!! Product is clearly advertised as fitting 5" or 6" pot lights however the clip attachments measures 5 1/4" across therefor impossible to insert into a 5" can. On the box it says 5/6" and the instructions indicate a dimension of 5" yet this is not true. Should have read all the reviews as I am not the first to complain about this. Another thing I noticed is the light is more 4000+K than the advertised 3000K. Build and quality seem to be very good and will work fine on any can which is at least 5 1/4" interior diameter. Will be returning product.
