Gencon All in 1 Head Harness.
I have an 8 month old Boxer who is obsessed with her lead. Walking her had become a complete nightmare with her jumping at the lead and tugging it ,pulling me into the road oblivious to her surroundings, an accident waiting to happen. I had tried various leads and harnesses all with the same results. Mh thoughts were that she would slip the lead and end up getting run over or pull my shoulders out as she is getting increasingly powerful. She is a big baby & hasn't got an aggressive bone in her body & knew i had to keep trying as she has to burn off energy and I love to walk her daily. I came across the Gencon head harness while reading a Boxer book on training which said could help with my problem,so although I thought this lead looked flimsy I decided to give it a try. Well what can I say miracles do happen & after the initial trying to paw it off her nose we set out and it was a pleasure to walk down the road with her by my side nicely & calmly with a loose lead & only a gentle tug if she pulled ahead. I never thought this would happen so I give it 5* for making my dog walking a much better experience. I must say that if I do let her off the lead in an appropriate place the jumping still occurs and she will want the lead, its a big game for her & sometimes a struggle to get her back on it,but all in all a revolution. Ps before people say take treats or her favourite toy as diatractions these have all been tried and she has no interest in anything but the lead itself. I hope this might help anyone with the same problem, thanks.

Perfect to stop my dog pulling
This does exactly what I wanted it to do to stop my dog pulling

Not what I expected
Material is hard, where 2 pieces are sewn together it is very rough ,the lead hurts my hand so I am not happy using it on my dog and it doesn't stop my dog pulling.

Good lead.Right handed.
This is the second one,i've bought.First one my step daughter borrowed, and never returned. The thing I would like though,is if they did them in Yellow for nervous or troubled dogs.

Reduces pulling
It looks comfortable on my spaniel, obviously, it gets tighter when he pulls which is the idea and slackens off again when he heals. It can be tricky to put on but worth the effort, has reduced my spaniel pulling on the lead by 70%.

Really good for stopping dog from pulling but only lasted 9 months
This is really good for stopping pulling and keeping control of my strong German ShepardIt could be more comfortable as he often tries to pull it off with his pawsThis is my second gencon as my first only lasted 9 month before a tear appeared in the area that goes over my dogs muzzle so I can only give it three stars as durability is an issue

Miracle "cure" for pulling, lunging, jumping, but is fiddly and dog can get out if it wants to.
Just what I needed! Stops the dog from pulling, jumping, lunging/gives you more control when they do.There are a lot of comments about the lead twisting - yes, you need to check it every time, but once you are used to using it, this is quick and easy to do.Although these are marketed as left and right specific leads, I have discovered that you can put it on so that it works on the other side, too, just put it on "inside out" and it works OK. Otherwise, I just have the lead go over the back of my dog's shoulders (a lot of areas don't have pavements, or only have a pavement on one side, so I have to change what side the dog walks on).I have to make sure the plastic catch is adjusted tightly enough, without being too tight, otherwise my dog can slip out of it easily. Can also slip out if it really wanted to, so it's not completely secure.
