Its best for language learner with culture notes reading writing practice alphabets and glossary its perfect package for learner and loved it i need same kind of book for arabic learning though i bought from you expecting same but iam disappointed please do suggest me if you have for arabic

A must buy for those learning Korean. The level of difficulty increases gradually as you read the short stories. They come with English translation which is very helpful. It also gives cultural backgrounds which helps to understand the contexts.

Good book. Word by word Meaning is given . Translation is given . My lappy dsnt have CD player so can't comment on that . Over all great book .

Llegó súper rápido y en excelentes condiciones. Las historias son muy buenas y ayudan a practicar coreano. Lo único malo es que no llegó con el CD que supuestamente está incluído.

Short stories at the beginning, not overwhelming or intimidating. You can really take your time and go as slow as you need. Some of the vocabulary explained after each story. Very helpful for practicing your reading.

The media could not be loaded. The stories in this Korean-English parallel text anthology of Korean folk tales range from very short (only a paragraph) to a few pages. It has a good glossary and index for language learners. Some of the stories have their origin in traditional folktales while others seem to be just silly short anecdotes. It introduces the reader to an aspect of Korean folktales and the virtues and values that they present. It's entertaining and accessible for a learner of Korean who can commit just a little time to read and study the translations.

Ottimo libro per chi inizia a studiare coreano. Si passa dalle storie brevissime e semplici, a quelle via via più complicate. Per ogni storia c'è una lista dei vocaboli utilizzati, domande sulla comprensione del testo e curiosità riguardo a quella determinata storia (sono racconti del folclore quindi ho apprezzato molto che ci siano degli approfondimenti e spiegazioni). Ovviamente bisogna sapere l'inglese e fare attenzione alla traduzione poichè non è tutto tradotto letteralmente (io me ne sono accorta perchè sto studiando coreano e mi rendo conto che la traduzione certe volte viene adattata, un pò come avviene con i sottotitoli, quindi bisogna fare il doppio passaggio coreano-inglese e inglese-italiano per capire il senso).Comunque sia lo consiglio perchè è utile per imparare ma anche per la semplice curiosità di leggere qualche storia tradizionale.
