More is better . . .
To me, these fans strike a good balance between performance and noise. The airflow provided by the stock fans in my tower cases always seemed puny and too warm, so I replaced them. I got the results I wanted. There is appreciably more airflow at somewhat cooler outlet temperatures using these Bgears fans. Computer noise doesn't tend to bother me, so that isn't as much a consideration as it might be for some. As long as the machine doesn't interfere with entertainment sounds, I can care less how loud the ventilation system is! The new fans do emit a sound level and character that are bound to bother some. My old ears hear a moderate "howl" from them, as well as the rush (!) of additional air flow, but these are tolerable to me. The howling part is attenuated by intake filters, which helps in front of the computer. Some of these reviews make it seem like you better nail down the kids for fear that they will get blown away by the fans, but that is simply not true. Glue works better. They provide a nice increase in airflow and good pressure capacity to blow around objects like RAID racks and through filters, for a very reasonable price. They won't blow much dust out of or through your PC as a general rule. You will still have to clean it periodically with compressed air. The fans are, however, a nice step up for those who want more airflow. It should be kept in mind that the arrangement of fans is just as important, if not moreso, as the devices themselves at effective cooling of sensitive PC components.

I Am A Big Fan Of These.
I purchased four of these fans for my Rosewill Gear X3 gaming case. The case only had two mounting points on the side panel so I modified it by making two more mounting points then adding the fans outboard on the side panel with the Bgears filters to cover the fan blades. I had originally only had two fans mounted on the side panel that were Rosewill dual ball bearing fans so I moved those to the top of the case as the case only came with sleeved bearing fans that made noise mounted in that position. Each individual Bgears fan moves substantially more air than the Rosewill units and I ascertained this by using my kestrel air speed gauge I use for sailing. With the fans mounted to the outside of the case door and using a small hole to route the fan cables through I gained a substantial amount of space inside the case while increasing the air flow remarkably. The filters covering the fans make it look more esthetically pleasing and safer if you have curious children or animals and they don't restrict the airflow with clean filters by much at all. The filters do attenuate the noise of the fans by about 7db on my sound testing device using an "A" weighted scale. The addition of these fans lowered my mother board temperature from 104 degrees Fahrenheit to 89 degrees Fahrenheit with an ambient air temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit. My AMD Phenom 2 940 X4 processor over clocked to 3.7 GHz also was cooled considerably more by the influx of more voluminous amounts of cooler air. I do not consider the fan noise obtrusive but if someone did find it undesirable they could easily mount a nice fan speed controller to reduce the fan speed ergo attenuating the fan noise to a more desirable level. These fans produce more airflow without the usual high rpm's and resulting undesirable noise levels that come with most fans that that produce over 100 cfm. All in all I am very please with the fans and with the dual ball bearings they should have a much longer life span than sleeved bearing fans. The are also considerably less expensive that some of the high cfm fans I see marketed. Considering cost and performance I gave these fans a five star rating.

If fans won't work with included molex adapters....
Bought a total of 9 of these fans for a new gaming PC that I recently completed building. I wanted maximum cooling and life from the fans as I typically only try to build a system every 2-3 years and keep the systems in service for 5 years minimum. Ball bearing fans were a must for me and the options for a larger ball bearing fan are somewhat limited. I found these Bgears fans and my search ended. Lots of airflow, quiet (to me anyway), seems to be built well. I did take off a star due to defective adaptors to plug into standard molex connections. The solution is stupidly simple so I will try my best to explain it here.I did a quick power up and had no fans...less the one old 80mm I stuck in to fill an empty fan port. I figured that something wasn't connected properly and opened the case...low and behold the 80mm adapter was the LAST ONE connected to my ridiculously long chain of fan adapters. Looked at a working adapter compared to the Bgears adapters and noticed the following:The connector that has the 4 pin molex pulls off of the 12v and a ground. These need to correspond to the correct 12v and ground on the adapter. They are wired incorrectly. I determined this by looking at an adapter that worked and realizing the wires need to essentially cross. The outside pin on the 3pin fan connector connects to the more central pin on the molex end of the connector. As they come, the outside pin is wired to the outside pin and causes the fans to not work.[ 1 2 3 4 ]......x.y......x.y......x.y......x.y [ 3 2 1 ]^This is how they come, where the [ 1 2 3 4 ] is the 4 pin molex power supply connection and the [ 3 2 1 ] is the 3pin fan connector, x and y are the wires.[ 1 2 3 4 ]......x.y......x.y......y.x......y.x [ 3 2 1 ]^The second ascii depicts how the wire should connect. Use a tiny straight paperclip or something else pokey to push the pins out of the 3pin connector. I used a 0.018" gage pin. You can accomplish this by pushing from the end of the 3pin connector that attaches to the fan wire. There is a small clip at the top of the pin that is back in the base of connector. Youtube probably has a few good videos explaining this particular step. Once removed, replace the pins in the SAME sockets in the connector, just switch which pin goes in which hole. It is important to get them in the right 2 of 3 sockets in the connector, so maybe mark where the wires are originally so you can simply pop em in. I am quite electronically/mechanically inclined so this was not a difficult task for me. You can buy the adapters cheap online so if you are not in a hurry, slightly nervous about rewiring components, and can wait to have them shipped, it may be a better solution.I hope this helps someone fix their fans. I had bought into these fans lock, stock, and barrel so I was going to make them work if possible. I'm glad I spent a few minutes determining the solution to get these things running. Awesome product, deserves 5+++ stars, however they shoot themselves in the foot by sending out improperly wired adapters.

Nice fan
Moves a lot of air.

Great air flow
These move a lot of air. For the money they can't be beat. System runs much cooler under load. I put 9 of them in my system replacing the pretty argb fans that didn'tmove any air. A little noisy, but worth it for the temps.

Great airflow
Had these fans in my Cosmos 1000 which get ridiculously hot. The fan worked like a charm and they were easy to install and moved air fantastically. It does tend to get loud but for the amount of air moved, I can't complain. Came with molex adapters as well. Not the best built material but for the price it was worth the trade off

No way these are high cfm fans.....
I expected high airflow fans, these are not what is described.Going to return as a waste of money

Excellent
All I had to do was clip it into place and plug it in, so setting it up was very simple and easy.It is very powerful and very quiet, and it has kept my pc much cooler, I highly recommend buying this, I didn't need the screws or 3-4 pin adapter so I can't review those, but the fan itself is brilliant, I am thinking of buying another.
