Basix Philadelphia Firm Collar with tracheotomy opening (Medically Approved Class 1 Device Supplied to NHS)

What a wonderful product! I have doesn't the last 3 years having treatment that would horrify you, because of throat cancer. One of the persistent side effects is that if I sleep normally, I get a *very* bad swollen face. Even if I sleep upright, my head will lol to one side, and I get this terrible lymphedema, making me look like I've been in a boxing match and lost. Badly. But with this light as a feather collar, my head stays upright, and I can look forward to having a normal, soft face the next day. Quite literally, life changing! I've tried many other collars, but none work quite so well as this. It is wonderful. AND the first one I bought was the wrong size, but they let me change it, no problem.

The collar comes in only a plastic bag as packaging therefore it is deformed in the post. I shall have to wait to see if the collar returns to its original shape. The Velcro straps are rather too short to reach a good way around the collar. Height is good for larger necks.

Difficult to use.

It was too stiff but they were good about giving me a refund.
