I purchased this cologne as a Christmas gift for my husband. This is the first cologne he has asked me for in the 16 years we have been together. I usually just buy a cologne I like ( because I am the one who has to smell it) and I generally don't spend more than $20 on cologne. He wears cologne to work everyday and does not really care if it wears off quickly. He leaves for work at 6:30 am and I usually get up at 8 am and I can never tell which cologne he puts on in the morning. Then I got him this cologne and I am now a fan of higher priced colognes. He found this scent in a Men's Health magazine and told me he would actually buy this. i was shocked ! He never buys cologne let alone tells me he wants one bad enough that he will get it himself. I can always smell this one in the mornings when I get up and I love knowing he finally has a quality cologne.He told em he loves that it has a very fine mist that covers a lot of area. He sprays one spray at about arms length and the fine mist covers his entire torso. The scent also last a really long time so I know at any time during the day when he is home can walk near him and get a whiff of this scent.The bottle is also quite large so I know it will last a long time. I believe this is a great value for an extraordinary cologne.

I had received a sample of this prior to my purchase. I’m always very skeptical on any perfume or cologne. There aren’t many out there that I actually like, my husband included. He liked it so much he had the sample I had gotten gone in no time. He told me I had to get him more. When I got the bottle of it in the mail the bottle itself is a pretty cool design. He now wears it quite often. He and I both get headaches from strong scented perfume or cologne. This has a subtle scent and it doesn’t make your entire house smell of cologne and the scent lasts all day. The only negative I have is it’s kinda pricy on other sites, Amazon was the only site that offered a decent price.

I was given a sample spray of Invictus from the perfume girls at a mall and immediately knew I had to add it to my collection. I'm sensitive to strong scents and this was the first "night" cologne I've had that doesn't give me a headache in close confines. I'd describe it as a fresh, almost unisex fragrance - in a good way. A little bit goes a long way and it lasts longer than anything else I use. I lightly sprayed a business card for a "just in case" encounter and ended up leaving it in my wallet because the great smell returns every time I use it. On the flip side, I reserve my favorite cologne(s) for work because this is too strong for the office. I also have not received as many random compliments about Invictus as a coupe of others, but I'd still put it in my top five. The price is a bit steep, but that makes it a bit more exclusive too.

I absolutely love this smell. Let me start off by saying this is 100% genuine. After reading other reviews I had my doubts so I also ordered the same bottle from Sephora. I sprayed the one from Amazon on one wrist and the one from Sephora on the other. I can confirm that the packaging, smell, and longevity are identical. So save some money and order from Amazon instead. Secondly, the smell is very strong so a little goes a long way. The only downside to this scent is the longevity? Perhaps due to having such a strong smell on initial application. I just take the bottle with me in my backpack and re-apply after lunch.

I got a sample smell from a magazine and was super hesitant at first because I'm thinking, I've never even played rugby for South Africa, am I really qualified to handle this type of scent? Gut reaction was no definitely not, you work in an office. But one day I was feeling super bold and tried it and I gotta say, I felt like Matt Damon in Ocean's 11 but much cooler. I would say Matt Damon in Invictus but you know he was smelling rough after a game of rugby ball. I felt like a million South African Rand's and bought a full size bottle of Invictus so that I could really move up in the world. Unfortunately 1,000,000 rand is only about $68,000 which is appropriate because unfortunately, the wonderful smell does not last all day like some other colognes. I felt like $67,999 in the morning but by lunch, I feel and smell like $1 that has been handled by too many people and been in a number of questionable situations. Nah it's not that bad but the scent does wear off disappointingly quickly.FINAL THOUGHTS: If you wear this cologne you will 100% guaranteed be as famous as Matt Damon in Invictus for as long as the smell lasts which will be enough time to do the audition for the movie so enjoy it while you can. 4 rugby balls out of 5.

Alright, so after reading all the comments I decided to give it a try, as the price is really tempting. The product seems to be very original, but at first I kinda felt cheated as the fragrance didn't stay for more than 5 minutes. But after posting an angry review I decided to give it another try, shaking well the flask and letting it sit for a while and BOOM, the fragrance appeared, and after more than one hour I can still smell it - a lot. In fact, I'm kinda intoxicated at the moment!Just my two cents: first, make sure to buy from Amazon; second, do the same as I did, as the product may have been sitting at the shelf for a while - revive it!

My wife bought me several colognes and this is one of my favorites. It’s fresh smelling and has a very nice scent. Lasts a long time. My wife loves it as well. I don’t know how she does it but she finds these colognes without every smelling them and they’re exactly what I would pick out for myself. Good job sweetie!
