I am so glad I splurged and bought this as a birthday gift to myself. I have a lot of jewelry and it was not well organized, I was constantly looking for the other earring to a pair or forgetting about pieces that were packed away. This cabinet is lovely and functional.NOTE: the magnet that holds the door shut is too strong. When I would open the door, the whole cabinet would lift off the wall 1-2"on the bottom and then bang back against the wall when the magent released. This is VERY easily fixed by stacking a few layers of clear tape on the magnet - just enough layers that it weakens the connection between the magnet and the metal plate, so it holds shut but doesn't resist opening.This organizer allows me to see (almost) all of my jewelry at a glance. The earring section is designed cleverly to accommodate studs, dangles, and hoops. I use the hooks under the mirror for bracelets and the hooks on the door for necklaces, but I still have some long and/or bulky necklaces that don't quite fit anywhere. I have some odd-sized things in the mesh bag, like a chain belt - I like how it is attached with Velcro so you could use it as a travel bag.I loooove the lighted mirror and makeup storage but with a few tweaks it could really be perfect. The lights are controlled two ways: 1) a little button that acts as a switch, so when you close the door it presses the button and turns off, and 2) an on/off slider under the makeup tray, where the battery compartment is. There is no quick and easy way to switch off the light if, say, your partner is sleeping in the room and you want to grab something without disturbing them. You either have to hold in the little button the whole time the door is open, or remove the makeup trays (full of makeup) and switch it fully off. It would be nice if the on/off switch was accessible from the outside. It would also be nice if the lock was a little more camouflaged, it is large and really sticks out.Hanging the cabinet was very easy with the included hardware. It is pretty low-profile against the wall and the full length mirror on the door is so nice. It arrived well packaged and fully assembled, so all I had to do was unbox it and hang it up.I love how organized and accessible my jewelry is now! This cabinet has become my center of getting ready...mirrors, jewelry, and makeup all in one place. Love it.

It is a very heavy order. It is a beautiful and functional unit. Our daughter loves it. Will need two people to install.

Great size for my needs. I looked at several other brands/styles and this one had the best set of features. I like that the full-length mirror has a frame around it so I don’t get fingerprints on the mirror when opening the cabinet. The inside lights are the perfect temperature of warm white, and the adjustable door brackets allowed me to set the inside mirror at an appropriate height (I’m 5’8” and it wasn’t high enough on other brands’ cabinets). Plenty of earring storage for dangles, hoops, and studs (I used the padded ring part above the mirror for stud earrings). I used the velcroed hanging bag for bracelets, although I’d rather them be displayed on pegs or something other than all in a bag so they’re more organized and visible at a glance. This, and that there’s no pocket for the hanging necklaces are why it didn’t get 5 stars. I plan to add my own necklace pocket at the bottom to protect and keep the necklaces from swinging around when the door is opened and closed. Another feature I’m not in love with is that the shelves all have pre-spaced fixed/unadjustable dividers in them that restrict the options of what you can put on those shelves—why?? Open shelves would be better and more versatile. But there is still enough space for my watches and sunglasses, which also fit in the small drawers. The plastic makeup tray by the mirror is removable which leaves enough space for all of my perfume bottles. Overall, this look and setup provides an elegant and highly functional storage solution that makes me feel so glamorous!

For years my grandmother has dealt with keeping her jewelry bunched up in a small, decrepit box. Some of these are family heirlooms and I hate to see them not being taken better care of. My grandma rarely gets things for herself and lives with a depression-era mentality that good enough is ok. So, when I saw the chance to help her preserve these precious family memories, I jumped on it. I purchased this cabinet so that she could both store the jewelry and keep the cabinet out of the way since you can mount it on a wall or over a door.The mounting system for the cabinet was probably the feature that appealed to me the most so when it arrived and I examined the back, I was a little surprised that with a cabinet this heavy that there was only one set of screws for securing the jewelry cabinet on the wall. I also noticed that while all the supplies are available for hanging it from a door that the weight of it might cause a standard bedroom door to warp or buckle.I ordered the espresso version of this cabinet and think the color is gorgeous. Despite my reservations about the weight of the cabinet and how it’s mounted, I think the cabinet is really well made. It arrived in a gift box that was shipped in a larger shipping container. The cabinet was wrapped in plastic and surrounded by styrofoam and ours arrived undamaged. I could see that being a possible concern depending on who the shipper is, but I feel like the product is adequately protected from the seller.I really love how much storage is available in this cabinet and the fact that lights are included. It’s a really nice touch and they make it really easy to find what you are looking for. I do wish they were rechargeable or at least didn’t use as many AA batteries (it takes 6).Overall this is a really nice product. Because it weighs a little over 30 pounds, I think it would be good to have additional support for hanging it, but the product itself is really well constructed and it looks very classy. My grandma has never been happier with her storage for jewelry. And it makes me happy to see her excited to be able to find things easier.
