works as it should
works as it should, nice cord, you need a long antenna mount if you plan on putting this next to the hood.

Works fine, not expensive.
I'd like to give this 3.5 stars if possible because it is better than OK, but not spectacular. It works well and does have good strain relief on the ends. One thing to know is that the strain relief could cause some issues due to the lack of flexibility as well. Not a problem for me, but could be for someone who gets caught off guard. Due to the "beefed" up ends, you will need a little extra clearance from your connections. No problem for me as a I used an angle connector on the back of a radio but some people might be thrown off by it. For me this is a solid value and I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone trying to get on the air easily. This is not the best coax out there but it is fine especially at only 18'. It is flexible enough to be convenient for vehicle installs. This combined with plenty of antennas that you can get on here for around $20 or less, a decent mount, and a good radio, you can get on the air easily and inexpensively.

perfect for an XJ going from tail light to dashboard!
Setup a CB and an antenna on my 99 XJ. Mount was at the passenger tail light and cb was on the drivers side dashboard. The wire reached all the way with no issues. Was able to transmit with a 1.1 SWR which is good enough for me!Would buy again!

Solid product, will continue to buy this line of products
This is the first time I’ve ever bought anything made by truck spec. I’ve seen their products for years in the truck stops but never bought anything simply because of price and it looked cheap. The cheapness was a gross misunderstanding. This is a great cable with solid connections. The 18’ is a nice length that probably won’t see too much loss or impedance. I didn’t test it on an SWR or tune on it as I bought it for a quick and dirty application which it will do fine for. I did notice that if you leave it coiled it does affect performance in a negative way but it’s not terrible.
