If we could give this product more than five stars, we would! The craftsmanship is exquisitely detailed and beautiful. In addition to being beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The box truly is a well-designed puzzle all four of our family members enjoyed solving. We thought an obvious plan of attack would be to look for cracks, but there are none! Further, one might think the lacquer would stick and keep the pieces from sliding, but that is not the case. We are truly impressed with this functional, fun, beautiful work of art.

Gave these as gifts to older grandkids and everyone loved them. Made a great Christmas present and we put money inside.

I absolutely loved this❤️❤️❤️❤️ I gave this to my boyfriend as a gift and he loved it. He loves how it had a secret compartment to store the key for the jewelry box or whatever use you want it to be. It’s like a puzzle. You have to figure out how to use the key or where is the key hole as well.. like I said not only is beautiful and well crafted it’s also entertaining and amazing to look at.

I got this for a buried treasure hunt for my 7yo and 5yo sons while out camping. It was definitely over the head of my 5yo but my 7yo absolutely loved it and showed it to everyone afterward. It's definitely great for kids in that age range and semi-interesting for adults as well.The box itself is nice and the two main compartments are pretty well-constructed and look good. My issues are that the key and locking mechanism are very flimsy, as well as the mirror included in the main compartment and a couple of the smaller wooden pieces that move as part of the puzzle box. I think it keeps this from being a truly great product but it is still pretty good--just may not hold up to repeated usage over time, which is a little disappointing given the price point.

Key did not work well. Once the box was opened the mirror was laying in the bottom of the box due to only one brace being installed. Disappointed.

Just got my box today! Just absolutely STUNNING! The craftsmanship is just sublime! The note with how to open, adorable!Only downfall. My husband was admiring the lock mechanism, when the inside mirror slid out and broke on the floor. On future builds, you might want to have the wood slats hold the mirror a little tighter.My husband is handy, he will get me a new mirror for it.Again, this puzzle box is absolutely beautiful and challenging! Must buy!

It's a tricky thing lots of steps to get it open but very nice and a fun puzzle.
