Simple and Cheap Fix to Old Valves
Made a huge difference in how the sprinklers worked. They went from barely working to spraying to max distance and needing to be dialed down. Easy to change, just watch Orbit’s youtube video. Saved me hundreds compared to what my gardener quoted to replace the valve.

Works exactly as expected
After decades of use, I noticed that one of our irrigation zones was not fully shutting off. Disassembling the valve, I found the diaphragm had developed a small tear. I ordered this as a replacement, and it worked perfectly.

Appears to be a direct replacement for original, i stocked it for a backup item cuz when one needs it, probably yesterday delivery is necessary.

The valve was fine but the jar top unit didn't last long.

Better than original diaphragms
These are made with silicone. The originals were a rubber or neoprene material. After a couple years, the original began to cause leaks from the valves. After replacing them very carefully, all leaks stopped and valves are working perfectly. I have the jar top Orbit valves.

Forget about repair, buy a new replacement valve from Orbit
Three orbit jar top valves making noise. These were installed ten years ago. Thought to rebuild diaphragms. First two valves worked fine, third would not turn off. Two hours later, after swapping parts back and forth, the new diaphragm was the issue. Don’ t know what your time is worth, but these Orbit valves run $15 here. Not worth the cost savings.

It fits!
Take out the old, put in the new, walla!! No leaks! If you have an old (20 plus) Orbit sprinkler system, with the 'old' valves this diaphragm ROCKS.

ring did not fit
I ordered this for an old valve repair. The new ring did not fit in the housing but the membrane seems OK. Did not try the repaired valve
