Easy to use, but broke due defective design and company will not stand behind the product.
I found this very easy to operate and use, and it appears to work well for tracking car speeds, assuming the car is coming straight toward or away from you. I would have given five stars, but the battery door IMHO has a defective design which makes it very fragile: The door is a small disk that latches into the base of the handle, and has a very strong spring to hold the batteries in place. Maybe too strong: I had left it sitting on its side on a table, and when I came back the battery door was on the other side of the room, and the plastic at the base of the handle that holds the door in place had broken apart where the tab in the door presses against the handle. The device had never been dropped, and I'd used it a total of maybe 15 minutes. I'm going to try some super glue to see if I can repair it, and if not will investigate whether it can be replaced under warranty.Update: It broke again due to stress from the battery cover. The entire handle cracked in the middle and separated from the body (it was just sitting on my desk unused). So that's three different places it broke. I sent it in for repair and they rejected it, claiming that I must have dropped it (which is not what happened). They sent it back to me, I'll have to see if I can duct-tape it together. I would have been happy if they had just sent the plastic case so I could fix it myself, along with a warning to clip the too-long spring. Added some pictures showing some of the places it broke as well as how far the spring sticks out.

Citizen patrol :)
I live one block from the area high school. So when school lets out, my street can become a drag strip. The local police are aware, but can only be so many places at once. So, just before school lets out, a grab a lawn chair in front of my garage and plant my bottom down with this speed gun. I point it as they come down the street to see what speed they are going. Yes, I'm that person. I know it's not legally enforceable in any way, and I'm not yelling or harassing anybody - I'm just sitting there quietly watching the speeds as they go by. I make no attempts to hide, but not advertising it either - if they see me then good, they'll get my point without saying a word. I've talked with the local patrol about it, and as long as I handle myself like this and don't outwardly bother anybody then I'm free as I please. On the plus side, after being spotted by the kids for a few days, they all seem to slow to respectable speeds. I just have to repeat every season, particularly spring, when the next crop of newly fresh drivers come along.
