I, Q: The Windy City (I, Q, Book 5)

The books in the I,Q series are in many ways a single book, a single story, split up to make them more marketable to a young audience. This is not a bad thing. But it means I have plowed through books two through five in little over a day. The story moves fast and the characters are relatable. Involving kids in this degree of danger is not at all realistic, so willingness to suspend disbelief is a must. If you can do that you are in for an awesome ride. I would write more, but I need to download book six.

This series has been captivating since page 1 of Book 1! I don't know what I will do once I finish them all.....

Son seems to like it

My daughter loved this book! Admittedly, it did have a lot more violence than the first few installments, but she is able to discern between fact and fiction, so it didn't really trouble her; in fact it helped her stay invested in the plot.Smith knows how to write for kids, so while I do find some of his storyline a bit of a stretch, it's still an entertaining read. I recommend the entire series and my daughter is looking forward to starting the next book!

Ya know,Roland Smith almost , better said all ways , has good books.And this one is nothing but more than average (for Roland and that's hard too do) But he some how finds a way to do this.Now if you live in Atl or L.A you might cry.But I mean , just amazing book Roland , looking forward to the next one!

I purchased collection I love it

If you start on the first one Independence Hall, you can't wait to get to the next. I 'm just about finished with the last one Alcatraz and I wish there were more. So many surprises. He also makes reference to one of his other series Storm Runners in Book 4 .
