Big Brother Peanut Butter

Got this as a gift for a friend pregnant with her 2nd boy, and it was a big hit! The photo illustrations are great! And cute little story too!

My son loves peanut butter and cupcake so when we found out he was going to be a big brother this was perfect. Even was nice to see multiples since we were having twins!

I knew I wanted a book about being a big brother for our son when we found out we were pregnant, and when I found one that included peanut butter, I knew it was meant for us. We even included it in our pregnancy announcements! Our son really loves reading this book with us as we prepare to welcome our second child. The concept is great and he giggles throughout the whole thing. I definitely recommend this book for soon-to-be big brothers!

I gave this as a gift and my friend said they really liked it and his son asked them to read it multiple times.

The illustrations are intriguing and the story line holds the attention of kids 6 to 8 years old.

I first found these books with the birthday book, which is adorable. I buy it for every kid's birthday. I recommend every book by Terry Border.

I really wanted to give this book 5 stars. I love Terry Border’s artwork and the universe he has created with his characters, but this book, though a nice addition to his series, is not my favorite one. It has a nice story, a good lesson to be learned, and the funny food puns I love. My main complaint was on one page where the text doesn’t match the illustration. It’s as if something was cut out and then edited improperly. This was disappointing because it made the page confusing, and ruined the flow of the story for me. It is still a really good book, especially if you know a child who is getting ready to be an older brother or sister, and the detail in each image is still just as mesmerizing and fantastic.

We love this book actually bought it for a friend that’s having twin girls for the very proud big brother.
