Are these light us coast guard approved navigational lights?

WARNING !!!!!! THESE LIGHTS ARE NOT USCG APPROVED BE ADVISED, THESE ARE NOT COAST GUARD APPROVED NAVIGATION LIGHTS There are two reasons that they are not approved as highlighted in USCG Safety Alerts 13-18 in regards that they can be the cause of interference with critical communication devices such as VHF Radio's and AIS Navigation & USCG Safety Alert 10-15 Failure by manufacturers to meet technical certification requirements. Furthermore, technical advances in marine lighting, such as the use of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), rope lighting, underwater lighting, and other various types of decorative lighting, may violate navigation light provisions of the Nautical Rules of the Road.

What is the width and thickness of the lights?

If you roll over the other pics it shows the width to be .5 so 1/2in as for the thickness I'd say between 3/8-1/2in. They are really a great light set.

How exactly do I power these up? Came with no instructions. I have a marine battery with cigarette lighter receptacles.

Wire them to your navigation lights or a separate switch. Power comes directing from your battery or from a fuse terminal if you have that installed.

Do these have adhesive on them or do the screw in?
