A cheaply made hat at a reasonable price. This will fit anyone's head, as the adjustability is amazing! Me and my dad both have large heads and it fit fine with extra room to spare! It also fit one of my sister's heads, which is very small. Looks pretty good for the price too!

not the sellers fault. amazon packed it in a box that was obviously too small, so it was misshapen and wrinkled. I cut out a cardboard circle and put it into the top of the hat. That helped get it back in shape, but it took a lot of finessing. The wrinkles are still there, but you could probably get them out with an iron on a low setting. again, not a problem with the product so much as the fact that Amazon packed it in a box that was too small. it's not a fancy, top quality hat, but definitely worth the price. As long as you're not hard on it, it should last a while. OH and it fits my big head really well. I have had problems with hats through amazon being too small.

So recently I went on a cruise and boy was I glad I brought this hat. We had been at sea nearly 26 hours when I noticed my hand starting to shake so I hit the bar. It was an uneasy and blusteroue sea very similar to my wife on her period after some pad Thai curry and a half cup of coffee. Well you can imagine, anyway about 5 or 13 shots and a few beers later I was smoking a cigarette on the lower deck with my wonderful adult captain's yacht cap, button up white shirt half unbuttoned and it seemed I left my pants in the rest room. But it was too late! That was ages ago somewhere back by my dignity. Blindly I stumbled on a door and found it ajar. Really needed to piss. I could smell somethings like a urinal so I followed. Up a flight of stairs and what seemed like 3 or 4 more I found a pisser and let the goose gander. Felt wonderful only apparently I was sitting on the captains chair and his log book I squeezed my lemon all over. Thankfully he was in the other room and I surpassed as someone of importance by onlookers. Great hat though just don't try to pee on it.

I'll start by saying I didn't have high expectations for this hat for $8. You typically get what you pay for. One of the little black rings was sewn on poorly and barely hanging on leaving a pen sized hole in the size of the cap. When the cap is sitting on a table it leans a little to one side but when it's being worn it rights itself. The size range was adequate and the materials used for the cap were actually better than what I expected. The top part is actually fairly plush and the bill looks like it should hold up fairly well.

Like the headline said, this hat is quite excellent for the price, and the problem of it being crushed during shipping is quite easily solvable. My hat came in crushed from the padded mailer envelope as well, but with about 3 minutes of work with a fabric steamer, I was able to restore the hat to its normal shape. As you can see from my photo, mine came with all the emblems, gold stitching, buttons, and gold rope that are pictured in the ad. Good luck!!

Good size! Can fit a 6 year old kid and its adjustable. He wants to be a captain when he grow up

Opened up box and saw that the hat was torn wide open and the bill and top were wrinkled and bent beyond repair. I’ve never complained about a product before on this site or any other but this was just unacceptable. But seeing as it took forever to get this simple hat shipped out to me I stapled the torn parts together and tried flattening out the wrinkles (which didn’t work,) so now I’m stuck with it. Wouldn’t make this mistake again.
