I need to clean very dirt fabric blinds; any suggestions on what brand of steam cleaner to buy

I Love my Steamfast SF370 and it will assist in cleaning lots of stuff --- but not so much on blinds. I sometimes clean empty apartments to help out with my brother's property management company. Many of these have filthy/dusty wood slat blinds or faux wood blinds. All the steam does is make mud. We usually wind up taking them down and cleaning them by hand - slat by slat. It's a pain. I do recommend the steamfast for other cleaning chores though. Lisa

I really want a good grout cleaner is this the one for me

This steamer is really high powered for the price. As a professional green cleaner, my best recommendation for cleaning grout is to make a paste out of baking soda and white vinegar. Is this ideal for killing bedbugs? We had them once but out of fear and precaution I want to steam treat my beds and couches. How hot does it get?

Bed bugs have a low death rate temperature. As long as you can get the steam to be over 122° F, they will die as will their eggs. Pesticides do not kill all of them as they hide and are immune. Not to mention their eggs do not die by chemicals. They are sesame seed sized and are as sticky as super glue. Steam cleaning is actually the only way to be 99.999% sure the infestation will be eradicated

is it useful to kill bed bags

I would guess yes. It has a nozzle that is pretty pointed that you should be able to get in cracks.I don't know how hot the steam is or if it needs to reach a certain temp to kill them.The canister is not huge, so you do have to refill it every 30-45 minutes-so if you're working in a large space-it might not be what you're looking for.
