Great product

I shave off a little bit of this soap into my kitchen sink and wash my clothes by hand whenever possible, and have saved hundreds of dollars the past year at the laundromat. Instead of buying crazy expensive laundry detergents (even the cheapest is over 10 dollars!) I shave some of this off with my grater into hot water, whip it into suds with a kitchen whisk, and vigorously rub my clothes together in the sink. Then rinse and hang to dry. I absolutely love the smell of Zote and my skin , which is terribly sensitive, loves it also. This soap is very cheap and I have used only 2 bars in an entire year but then again it doesn't take much to get your clothes clean unless you are getting really dirty at work. Great for tough stains? I like the smell also? Good buy?

The Holy Grail of making anything turn back to white and bright! I tried this out at my mother's house when my white shirt became stained after swimming in a brown river. After passing this over my wet shirt, and letting it sit for 5 minutes, my shirt came out looking brand new. And the printed design on the shirt wasn't affected at all. I would advise you NOT to rub this on colored clothing since it may remove the color. I also did Not shred this to put it in my washing machine - I just rubbed it all over the shirt like I was handing washing it. Though I did read somewhere that, if you want to shred it and use it a detergent, it would be One tablespoon for every gallon of water (depending on the load). I recommend it, plan on ordering again once it's gone, and have already had my friend buy the liquid one today.
