Absolutely love Tailwind products!! Their recovery product is my go to after a long run. I feel amazing the next day after my long run when I use this recovery product. Highly recommend!! I have only used the chocolate flavor. I really like the taste and does not upset my stomach. I mix it with cold water in a shaker bottle with no issues.

I've always heard great things about Tailwind products, but hadn't tried them until recently. My favorite brand of vegan chocolate recovery mix was discontinued, and this came highly recommended as a replacement. I like the ingredients and it mixed well in my shaker bottle. Taste is good, but not as good as my previous product. I do like that each serving is individually packaged. I just tossed a couple in my carry-on bag for my last marathon.

I broke the rule... I tried something new on race day. Let me tell you though, I wouldn’t have survived without it! My first 50 miler was going down and I needed something with a lot of calories that I could get in liquid form in case my stomach wouldn’t take regular food. This product alone saved me from running out of calories. It tastes like a Chocolate frosty from Wendy’s! The protein helped stop my muscles from being absolutely wrecked. I felt better after this 50 miler taking Tailwinf recovery than I have felt after 2 prior marathons. The biggest drawback is the price. It won’t completely stop me from buying the product, but it makes me limit my usage, so I won’t buy it very often. I now only use it during ultramarathons and long training runs.

I had my first tailwind recovery this weekend after a 20 mile training run. This stuff is amazing! The taste is perfect. It tastes like chocolate milk without any chalky or chemically aftertaste. And, it brought me back to life so I could hang out with friends a few hours later, which was a pleasant surprise after a long run. I highly recommend this for endurance athletes. It's got 245 calories, so not to be used for a regular afternoon snack. Also, you will need a mixer bottle; it doesn't stir in well in a glass of water.

I am very happy with Tailwind Recovery mix. Chocolate is my preferred flavor, but I also like vanilla. I find I am fresher the day after a hard ride and I'm able to ride again when before I would have taken an off day. This is so easy to mix with water and pleasant to drink, it's great to take after a group ride before going to have a beer.
