This has been the best thing I’ve bought for my car. I have an iPhone plus that wouldn’t fit in a cup holder or anywhere in my console. I tried the sticky pop socket holder that was more expensive only to have the sticky part melt in the heat. This contraption is awesome, stays mounted and is easy to use. Worth every penny.

This car mount for Pop Sockets and similar phone attachments is a great addition to your vehicle if you don't have a car mount yet for your Pop Socket or similar phone attachment on your mobile phone. It has clamp used to secure it to your car's air conditioning vent. This is tightened to provide a more secure grip on the vent. On the end is a ball type joint and mount that holds the phone itself by the Pop Socket or similar device. This part can also be tightened to prevent movement of the phone and unwanted tilting due to gravity or centrifugal force when turning. No security features for this one; however, how often do you come across a car mount that prevents theft of a mobile phone?

The device itself is well made and does the job it's advertised to do, no complaints there.And it was easier to install than I originally thought.It's not so easy to slide the phone & Pop-Socket into device; it takes me a few attempts, mostly because of the awkwardness of aligning the device with my phone's Pop-Socket. It may not be this way for everyone.I would still recommend this product for hands-free driving. :)

I really wanted to like this product, but I must be missing something because I, for the life of me, cannot get any type of pop socket to fit and stay put! I’ve tried many sized and none of which either fit or would stay in place while driving. This product is more of a headache than a help. Wouldn’t recommend but would like to suggest a more detailed instruction manual.

I purchased this device in June and loved it. Worked great. After two months one of the "handles" broke. I contacted the seller and they quickly replaced it! Great customer service!

I have an iPhone XR Max- not a small phone. All the other clips I have tried the phone would not stay straight. The screen would flip down. This clip you can tighten down the vertical position on the vent then tighten the horizontal tilt (or angle) you want the phone at. Love it!! Finally a clip that works for me! Made from heavy duty plastic it doesn’t have a cheap feel to it at all. If your on the fence I would order. Promise- nothing to lose!!

This product does stay on your air vent, it doesn’t constantly fall off or anything like that. However, to get your phone off of it, you have to have one hand on the holder and one hand on your phone. Or take the whole thing off your air vent to take your phone out of the holder. I know it sounds picky, but when you’re driving, it needs to be a little easier to use in my opinion. The swivel is also very flimsy. It doesn’t hold your phone in the specific position you want. It falls easily because of the weight of your phone. It works, but it’s not high quality and can be frustrating to use.

Works really well, I've used it in a few car rentals and it was easy to put the phone mount on the vent and remove at the end. Stayed on and sturdy all the way and held my pixel XL phone perfectly. Your phone needs a pop socket to work with this mount.If you're looking for a non-permanent mount for aesthetic reasons, one you can move from one car to another, or one to bring with you on trips where you will be driving rentals, I highly recommend this product.
