I haven't used it on nails yet. The reason I got it was to rinse off my brushes after glueing my diamond dot pictures. I must say it works great. However, it did eat all the brisles off my new brush. Lolol

I ordered this to replace mineral fusion to remove dip powder manicure. It worked decently after soaking nails for 15 minutes.

I use acetone anytime I need to remove some sort of residue that is glue based, but mainly I use it to clean plastic vanes for fletching arrow. It helps to ensure a good bonding surface for the glue. I have used nail polish remover in the past, but many have other ingredients other than pure acetone often resulting in a bad bond for some reason. So I decided to buy just pure acetone. Even though it is billed as nail polish remover it has no other ingredients. I only wish it had a cap with a snap top for pouring out small amounts. But I could not find any with that so... Ends up a good value for the money and should last a long time.

I just received the bottle of acetone, but unfortunately it arrived leaking. And since it is a "hazardous" material, I cant return or get a refund. I havent used it yet, so I cant speak about that yet. Stay tuned... Update**** 07/09/21 I used it and it is very good. I soaked my nails with a cotton pad and the acetone for 10-15 minutes and easily scraped the gel polish away. Also, customer service reached out and issued a refund for the leaking bottle. So double plus for this company. Just work on the packaging so it won't leak in the future!
