Kicker 10C104 Comp 10-Inch Subwoofer 4 Ohm (Black)

Ordered these to add some bass to my KC Titan. Custom built the box and went a little smaller than the recommended air volume due to constraints of making the box fit under the back seat. However, I poly-filled the box for "fake" additional volume and this little sub pumps out the bass. I've only added one of the two I purchased at this time and have it hooked up to an old Kenwood KAC-921 amp that seems to push this sub very well. It's not so obnoxious as to shake the mirror of the cars next to me, but you can definitely feel the bass through the seats in the truck and I have it down low on the gain. I imagine if I had both subs that I ordered hooked up I would need to upgrade my stock speakers to keep up (actually I could do this with just the one sub). I'm still in the break-in period and expect it to open up even more after a few months. I would highly recommend this sub if you are looking for some bump, but don't want to wake the neighbors.

I have a single of these installed in my 2010 Camaro SS. It's in a box that fits perfectly snug into my trunk - it doesn't move around at all and not even using brackets because it fits so perfectly. This single sub puts out plenty of bass, enough so that I don't need a bigger one or two subs, and as a result I still have tons of trunk space. I have a Pioneer DVD multimedia double din head unit, and 5-channel Planet Audio amp, using stock BA 9-speaker system and the sound is amazing. I can crank the volume as loud as I want - I still haven't put it to a volume where it creates distortion, don't need to because that would be too loud (and I like loud music). The bass you can really hear and feel - I guess if you want bass that will make you climax you will need a bigger one, but for enjoying music that thumps, such as reggae or heavy metal, you couldn't ask for more with this sub.

Awesome sub for the price! Don't think you can best it. Installed in my Lexus sc300 with some modification. If you're looking for sound quality, this is the way to go. I'm using it in a free air setting and couldn't be happier. You can feel it in your chest if you turn it up enough. I have it hooked up to the kicker 700.5zx amp. The gain is turned up about half way and the sub level is set to 0. I'm sure I could push it harder but there's no need to for me. Just the refined bass i was looking for.

Update: This thing really punchs. I am happy with the thump. Putting into prespective what you pay for it, I think it packs quite a punch and I would be hard pressed not to increaes the rating to 4. I still say if you pay more, you get more... but than thats true for all things in life. So in a nutshell. This is awesome for 50 bucks!!! PERIOD! ----------------- Bought this from Amazon at 56 dollars only to see price go down by 10 bucks on Amazon within 1 week, left a sour taste. Coming to the sub, this baby thumps and has my rear-view mirror vibrating. It sounds more like a 12" sub. I have it paired to a 150 watt mono amp and it hits hard. Having said that the bass is not as tight as I would have hoped it to be, and its not that musical either. But given its for 50 bucks maybe I am expecting a little more than what I have paid for. For the money its defintely worth. If you are looking for pure thump, look no where further. If you can increase your budget slightly, get a more musically inclined sub.

I consider myself a skeptic, so for $60 I was thinking that I'd get what I paid for...totally not the case. This speaker sounds better than the JL counterpart and packs a mean punch. I've got a 200W JBL pushing 1 of these and it's still hungry for more power. The bass notes are deep and strong, it's exactly what I was looking for. I put it in an 08 Silverado Ext Cab in a custom enclosed box and I'm very pleased. Kicker knows their stuff and once again proved it with this sub! One additional note, make sure your amp has enough juice to push this thing. I wouldn't recommend a cheap amp because you won't get the benefits of it.

2 years of threshold use. A pair of these slam longer than my ears AND my electrical system can tolerate. This sub has been reliable so far...it's been 6 months of working it and no signs of fatigue. I listen to everything from rap to death metal. It performs and more often than not I'm dialing the bass down to avoid drowning the rest of the song. Definitely a safe, clean addition to a car stereo.

I just put this sub in and man does it hit hard. I wasn't expecting anything amazing for the price but wow did it blow me away! I had a little budget and I hooked this up to my boss 1100 watt amp, the only con I have with this is it doesn't hit low bass notes that well, you can here it but it doesn't shake the car with those notes. My friend just got a 12" pioneer sub and I swear this sounds better and was a lot cheaper! I'd definitely recommend this sub to a Friend
