Decent light but charger has a bit to be desired
Fairly small light compared to my other dive light. It's claim is 1200lm however compared to a few other lights that I have that are also said to be 1200lm, my guestimate is that its about 10% to 15% "less bright" than the others. Decent beam pattern with a fairly wide hot spot and decent spill for the ambient areas. Build quality looks good and the o-ring seals look adequate to keep the water out when compared to my other dive lights. This is a three-mode light (high, low, strobe). I would prefer a single mode, or possibly a two mode (high/low). Fortunately its not like some of the 5(+) modes - I hate having to keep hunting for the desired light mode and then having to fumble with a bunch just to turn it off. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to check it's water proof qualities to any depth yet. Some folks complained about the switch being too easy to accidentally activate. I found that although the switch is easy to rotate, it has to be turned a long way before it triggers the light. Personally I prefer a switch that is easy to manipulate so its easier to operate when wearing gloves. For those who have concerns with the light coming on when traveling, I'd recommend just leaving the battery out of the light until its time to go dive. Overall, I like the switch. Its not as easy to come up with a decent switch when using magnets as opposed to a traditional mechanical switch. But using a magnetic switch removes one more point of possible water intrusion. One review mentioned that with a magnetic switch, the circuit was "always on" and this would eventually drain the battery when not in use. I have other lights that also utilize a magnetic switch and I have not experienced this issue. Additionally, I connected an amp meter in series with the battery when installed in the light and I observed zero draw. There's no significant manufacturer info on the battery but at least it doesn't claim a billion mAh but rather a reasonable 2000mAh although I haven't been able to confirm the accuracy of that capacity. The charger is a bit flimsy/cheezie in build quality. There is an LED on the side of the charger that I believe is supposed to turn green when the battery is fully charged (no instruction manual). The LED remained amber in color even after being plugged in (with their battery) for about 10 hours and the battery voltage just at 4 volts. I tossed the battery on my own charger and topped it off within about an hour at about 4.18 volts. Undoubtedly, the charger that came with my light is defective. Amazon makes it difficult to deal directly with the vendor for just a charger replacement so my only option to "fix" the charger would be to send the entire light back. If the charger appeared to be of better in build quality, I might consider sending the whole package back for a replacement. But even if I got a working charger, I'm not sure I would feel confident relying on it for a dive trip due to the apparent build quality. The light also comes with an adapter so you can use AAA batteries. When using the AAA batteries, the light did not appear to be quite as bright as it was when using the supplied rechargeable lithium battery. I experienced this with both Alkaline and Ni-MH batteries. The Lithium battery would likely be your best bet for capacity and performance however the AAA adapter might be handy in a pinch.Overall, I like the light well enough for size, build quality, brightness, and beam pattern. I will likely make this my back-up light. If you can find the light at a better price point without the charger, I would suggest going that route. Once we get past this covid crap, I'll try to update with my experience with under water performance. Cozumel is calling!Seems like it's trendy to let people know: I purchased this light with my own money and received no consideration for the review.

Best Light for the Money!
I bought a Sealife Sea Dragon Mini 900 at my local dive shop and spent $110. I bought this as a backup May 2020. I've used it in Cozumel on about 10 dives in 2020 and 6 dives in Florida. I wish I would have bought 2 for a few reasons. I would not have the Sealife and saved a buttload of money, It is just as bright as my Sealife and I used this Cooilight more because I took it on every dive. I only used the Sealife for night dives. The only thing I didn't like about it is the rotary switch will turn the light on sometimes when it's in my gear bag. This is not really an issue at all because the battery lasts more than 2 night dives per charge. Unfortunately I left this in a rinse tank in the Florida Keys in March 2021 and no one turned it in to the shop. I came here to buy a new one and they are unavailable now. I would give this light 10 stars if I could. If the person who has my light is reading this, you are a real POS.

Nice light! Much better than the cheap one that you have to unscrew the base to turn it on
This light is only a little more money than a cheap one here on Amazon that has the on/off switch as part of the base. On the cheaper light you are asking for flooding if you turn on the light while underwater. With the well placed switch near the top of the light, you can easily flip it on or off underwater.I took it to my open water diving certification last night in a dark crater. Everyone was impressed with how bright the light was. It was much better than the incandescent lights the instructor handed out to us. People were asking where I got it!

Great small dive flashlight
Great smaller flashlight for diving. Compact & has lasted through a couple dives. It's not going to help in extremely poor visibility (nothing really does) but it's great for signal use, reading tablets, & seeing into some smaller coral. Not sure it would be bright enough for night diving. It's also great as a backup for a pocket if that's what you need (light & compact & good cost).

Great quality for the price, works well night snorkeling.
This light is bigger around than my other 18650 underwater lights. It can also use a 26650 battery. It fits my large hand very well. I like the rotating on/off switch, but I have no need for the strobe setting. It stayed dry in my first test, the 3 o-rings seem to do the job. The included battery lasted over 1.5 hours after fully charging. The charger is cheaply built and sent the battery flying out more than once.Overall, I like the light for size, build quality, brightness, and adjustable strap. The charger not so much, but better than nothing.

Good buy for the price
Good quality light for the money. Lasted about 2 hours dive time (3 dives) before starting to dim. Not going to provide a “flood” of light but beam is solid and bright enough to see where your going.

Works great to snorkeling!
These worked great for our night time and cave snorkeling. They have a strong center beam and the on/off switch works well. Strongly recommend for snorkeling.

Great option
Triple O-Rings seals, good brightness, good quality rechargeable battery. Buying some to give as gifts.
