I recently purchased this **BLACK+DECKER vacuum cleaner and I’m honestly very impressed. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and powerful enough to pick up dust, crumbs, and pet hair without any problem. I love how simple it is to empty the dust container, and the compact design makes it easy to store even in small spaces. The suction power is excellent for everyday cleaning, and it works great on both hard floors and carpets. It also saves me time because it’s quick to use and very efficient. Overall, this vacuum is reliable, convenient, and definitely worth the purchase.

We have had one of these for a while, and we use it constantly. Literally every single day. With pets and kids, it's really convenient to have a handheld vacuum instead of using brooms or getting out a big vacuum. A couple of weeks ago the battery started going, where it would shut itself off after a minute. I decided it was time to replace it, so I went back in my orders and found out that I had bought it more than 8 years ago. And this was 8 years of hard use. I ordered the exact same model again, because it's been so reliable for so long. Yeah, it's loud. But it has a long battery life and will suck up pretty much anything, and we haven't had any issues with it for all these years. I hope the new one lasts as long as the last.

Better than even expected!! No charge lasting issues! Still charged when finished 15 or more minutes..? Not too loud. Very efficient and easy to use, and charging indicator light. Worth cost, not so much. VERY HAPPY!! :)) Thank you...

Amazing vacuum quality and battery seems to last really well. But it is veeery noisy!

I paid full listing price on Amazon for this vacuum and only just received it a few days ago, so hopefully this review isn't premature. I was previously using a corded portable vacuum that I received as a gift which I used to clean messes in my car. Although I'm grateful for that thoughtful gift, that vacuum consistently failed to pick up small debris leaving me to either make SEVERAL passes over the same areas or simply picking up the debris by hand (aka counterproductive). I researched several vacuums on the web before committing and, while none are surefire perfect, this one seemed to come pretty close without having to sell a kidney on the black market to afford it *cough* Dyson *cough*. (My first choice was the Black+Decker BDH2000PL, but there are just too many reports of the canister door breaking off essentially rendering that vacuum useless.) This vacuum picked up everything that my previous vacuum failed to remove just the day prior. My car is not huge, but my old vacuum would take maybe 5-10 minutes or so of use to clean out my vehicle. When I used this Black+Decker for the first time, I had the job done in about 2-3 minutes! Others have mentioned that this vacuum is loud, but I honestly can't tell a difference between this one and my old portable vacuum. The canister is very easy to empty and doesn't seem to be overly prone to breakage. Lastly, I've read other reviews that mention the crevice tool slides back into the vacuum during use. However, if you fully extend the crevice tool until it clicks/locks into place, that wouldn't be an issue. I used the crevice tool to vacuum the tighter spaces in my car and did not experience it receding back into the vacuum in the middle of things. In summary: PROS: - Very powerful and effective (at least compared to my previous vacuum) - Easy to empty/clean - Attractive and masculine design - Great price with little compromise - The neck of the vacuum rotates and locks into multiple positions giving the user handling options. CONS: - A bit more weighty than I expected it to be. While this is not an issue for me personally, I feel it's worth mentioning because it is noticeably heavier than my previous vacuum (BTW which was corded and did not have a battery). If you intend to vacuum for 20-30 minutes at a time, plan for ambidexterity. - The included instructions address the use of a wall mount for this vacuum, however there is no actual wall mount included with this unit. (Although, I'm not really sure how practical a wall mount would be since there's a charging base that doubles as storage. If there was a CHARGING wall mount made for this vacuum, then I definitely would have been ranting for not receiving one!) - There is a gap between the mouth of the vacuum and the brush tool (when used) so I'm not all that certain of the brush's effectiveness. If anything, it's best used to agitate debris that may be stuck or wedged in something.

This is a fantastic dustbuster! The suction is very powerful. Easy to use & clean. Charging is quick & lasts. Loud? Of course! It's a vacuum! But who cares! The suction & charge are what matters & this delivers. Also, it's quite lightweight which is great for my elderly hands. I've owned a few B&D dustbusters in my years & I highly recommend this one!

For me this is a tool to solve a very specific problem. Dog hair in crevices on a hard wood floor. It performs the job I purchased it for magnificently. I highly recommend this product.

I spent a *long* time reading reviews of dustbusters, and finally chose this one because it has a lot of power, battery life, and space to hold dirt. But it turned out to be a big disappointment. I am sending it back. I bought this dustbuster to vacuum our car and our minivan. The day it arrived, I took it out of the package and turned it on. I liked that the battery was already charged. But I was startled by the VERY LOUD NOISE that this dustbuster makes. It seems loud enough to cause hearing damage. And because you hold the dustbuster with your hand as you are using it, there is no way to get your ears far enough away from the vacuum to get the noise down to a bearable level. I took the dustbuster to my car and started vacuuming. Despite the loud noise, the suction was not nearly as good as I had expected -- I had to go back over the carpet again and again to get junk to be sucked up. I got through vacuuming only three seats before a blue light started flashing and the dustbuster stopped working. I figure that either it overheated or the battery was low. So I set it down on its charger, to recharge. A few days later, I tried it again, this time in my minivan -- which is used by kids and had a *lot* of tracked in dirt and other crud. This time, the vacuum had much worse suction than the first time I used it. But that day one of the first things I had vacuumed up with it was a tissue that a kid had left behind. So I emptied the vacuum, fished out the tissue, and tried again. Now the suction was better, but this time I got through only two seats before the battery conked out. And it was still WAY TOO LOUD!!!!! I figured that maybe the tissue had overloaded the vacuum and used up the battery too quickly. So I put it back on the charger again, planning to give it one more try. A few days later, I took the dustbuster back to the minivan to finish the job. This time suction was okay, though not great -- not at all like the video on Amazon where the popcorn goes flying into the dustbuster. I got through vacuuming almost all of the rest of the minivan -- when the black front half of the dustbuster popped off. I wasn't abusing it or anything -- just vacuuming the minivan. I tried re-attaching the front half of the vacuum. But every time I snapped it back on, it fell right off again. It doesn't stay attached anymore. So after three fairly short vacuuming sessions, this dustbuster is toast. If the front half won't stay on, I can't vacuum anything with this. So, sadly, I am sending it back to Amazon. Overall, it felt like this vacuum was designed by a committee. The rotating nozzle (the part that fell off) doesn't really seem necessary, since you can easily just rotate the whole dustbuster. I like the way the attachments are permanently attached. But the brush nozzle only has bristles around the top and sides, not the bottom, which is where I'd need bristles the most, so it wasn't very effective. And, during my third vacuuming session, the brush nozzle fell off!! I had to reattach it. That's two different parts that fell off when they were not supposed to. Overall: Pros: * It is easy to empty out the dirt. Cons: * LOUD LOUD LOUD!!! * Pieces fall off. * Charge doesn't seem to last long. * Brush has bristles only on three sides. * Not enough suction. * Fell apart into un-usability on the third time I used it.
