Have been using these for several years. Started using due to itchy skin in winter. Hair gets stiff when it's time to change filter. Easy to use and works perfectly.

Been buying for years and years. Economical and works incredible well especially for Olympia water which stinks st times and taste awful.

You notice a difference, skin and hair is much softer. This has always been my to-go filter and stands against those subscription filters which are wayyyy to expensive and don't filter out as much.

My wife has an itches reaction to what i think is chlorine in our watter. She can't shower with out these installed in our shower.

This really makes a huge difference for me. My skin and hair feel so much softer and I don't get irritated by the chlorinated water.I just ordered a replacement and got it in yesterday (1/22/15). I put the previous one in about 9 months prior. I was noticing my skin starting to get irritated and dried out again. Got the replacement, installed it, and it was "night and day."When reading the instructions, I saw that it says to flip the filter every 30 days (about once a month) for optimal flow. I forgot to do this on my previous one so I wonder if that affected the length of time it worked. So, remember to flip the filter! Lol The packaging says it can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on water usage and amount if substance being filtered. I wouldn't say mine lasted even 9 months, though, because of how my skin was feeling irritated and dried out again (gradually) probably at least a few weeks or even a couple months before now changing it. That could have something to do with me forgetting to flip the filter, or it could be that the water where I live is just really bad... which it is.All in all, it's a great product, easy to install/uninstall (for filter changes), and doesn't take up much room. I recommend it!

Help with a hard water in my apartment. Definitely helped with skin and hair dryness.

I've been using these filters for years and have always been pleased.Attached is a photo of the old filter on the right, new on the left. It has been four months since I replaced the filter. Normally I don't wait that long but personal circumstances caused the delay.The hardness of your water dictates when it needs to be changed.I notice my skin becomes irritated and itchy and my hair doesn't feel clean when the filter needs changing.Normally I go about 2 months in-between changes and I shower everyday.

Great shower filter. We've been using this for two years now and couldn't be happier with it. My husband can really tell a difference in his dry skin, and I can tell a huge difference in my hair.I just ordered our third one, and they do seem to last right at a year. Both last year and this year, I got to a point where I realized that my curly hair was being frizzier and more difficult than usual to style. Only after realizing this did I think that maybe it was time to change our shower filter. Sure enough, I checked my Amazon orders and it had been exactly a year since I'd last ordered one! I always forget to reorder the filters, but my hair is good at reminding me.As soon as I changed the filter, my curls went back to being smooth and easy to style.We also use the shower head to fill the tub for our kids' baths so they aren't soaking in chlorine and other chemicals.
