5 super stars for the Superstar!
I can't say enough about this bike! It does everything very well! A true all-rounder on the road. This bike climbs, sprints, and rivals the comfort of other brands' best. I purchased this bike frame at a massive discount on Amazon and couldn't be happier that I took the chance. My last bike was a giant tcr which I loved to death. This Cinelli Superstar, however, is just as great as the tcr (which I didn't expect). I have gotten more compliments on the look of this bike than any other as well. Pictures do not do it justice!

Do not recommend - stay away from this company
Purchased the bike on June 5th. Due to some parts delays, I did not get the bike built up and ready to ride till the 11th of July. Had two great rides on the bike in a week. While getting the bike ready for the next days ride, I took it off the bike stand (Park tool 9.2) and attempted to lean it against the stand but appears the bike was about 6-12 inches in front of the main pole of the stand and the bike “fell" into the stand pole before stopping. It was nothing big and I honestly did not think much of it. But it appears the hit caused a crack in the top tube (see pics). I was gobsmacked that it cracked that easily. Pretty gutted actually that a bike that had been in ridable form only lasted a week.I tried contacting Cinelli-USA but it turns out that their e-mails don't work (bounced back) so I contacted the distributor, Cyclone Bicycle, about the issue. To make a long story short, I was called a liar and was told, and I quote "like pressure was apply to the top tube of the frame" and "and I never see this happening from a simple fall". He was accusing me of damaging the frame – I am assuming from clamping. I have had carbon frames for while (IBIS Ripley) and have NEVER clamped a bike via the top tube. NEVER. I don’t even clamp my steel framed bikes via the top tube. And honestly, after reading various message boards about carbon breaks, it seems that if you over clamp a carbon frame at the top tube, you get a defined break and structural damage that spreads out from the crack that can be observed from a simple coin test. The fact that he did not even ask what the coin test was like should have given me a good idea of what his position would be.So, no option to show this to a bike shop or a Cinelli dealer or even send it to him to examine. Nothing. You are own your own. I was offered another frame at the price I bought it for on Amazon but honestly, that is not an appealing offer. The one issue is that we both agree one is that (as he stated) “a frame should not be damaged with such a simple fall”. From his own statement, I now question the integrity of the entire frame (as the break happened exactly as I described).Honestly, I am really disappointed in this. Disappointed in Cinelli for a product that would become useless with a 6-12 inch fall into a bike stand tube. Based upon other people having this frame and no issues, it seems I may have a defective frame but they don’t want to know. Disappointed in Cinelli's US distributor that brushes issues off issues so quickly and calls current (and potentially a future customer) liars. Want to ensure a customer never again buys ANYTHING from you every again? Call them a liar.If you buy something from Cinelli US and Cyclone Bicycle and everything is fine, you may have nothing to worry about. If you have issues, you have been warned. And you have my sympathy.

exceeded my expectation
The frame exceeded my expectation. It is a high quality product with amazing paint job. The wight color sparkles in sunlight. I picked up the frame and components on sale and built 16# bike (w/o pedals) on $2K budget. The bike provides more compliance than my Cannondale Supersix Evo himod and I cannot complain on acceleration.Very happy with this purchase.

Superstar
Fast delivery. Was shipped from West coast. I'm 5'11" and the large (54) is a perfect fit. Local shop put the bottom bracket together and ran all the cables and then I finished the rest and did my own fit. Finished with Ultegra and Dura Ace with 45mm carbon wheels. Initial rides were to fine tune the fit. After being off of riding for 2 years this bike was exactly what I needed to get back on the road. I have over 800 miles on the bike in 5 weeks. The ride beckons and I have found when I'm off the Cinelli I can only think of the time I get back on. Sweet ride has amazing acceleration that translates into real climbing power.

Great value!
Built this bike up as a crash replacement to an older Ridley Fenix Classic. This frame is an excellent value, although the design language & styling may not appeal to everyone. Light weight (for the price), quick handling, and great vibration dampening, while still having a very stiff BB and headtube. The Superstar's rear triangle is stiff, probably stiffer than the Ridley Fenix, even with the abbreviated seat stays. Was initially skeptical of Cinelli's claims about the 'controlled deformation' regarding the unique top tube bend, but after descending some local roads with uneven jointed surfaces at high speed, I can say the front end seemed very planted and simply absorbed the bumps without any fuss. Medium frame weighed 972 grams with the fork coming in at 343 grams. This frame comes with a nice seat post clamp, headset, and steerer tube compression plug. Shimano PF86 BB went in without any fuss, and has been very quiet. Replacing and routing new shift cables can be a chore once the BB is pressed in; having a small telescoping magnetic is very helpful. There is a continuous length of cable housing from the rear derailleur forward to the removable bottom bracket cable guide. Overall, this is a unique bike perfect for someone looking for something different than the usually seen brands.

I haven't yet reached superstar status
the frame isn't what's holding me back though. Likely more my affinity for gelato.
