Aura Cacia Essential Oil, Renewing Lemon, 2 Fluid Ounce

I've bought this brand several times in smaller bottles.This peppermint batch has an odd musty odor to it. I'm not pleased about that, but hopefully it will still work for my purposes. This bottle was for deer repellent spray.I definitely will NOT but this size again for any other use, such as air freshener.I'm disappointed in the integrity of the brand if this is what happens when you are a loyal customer and buy larger quantities than one ounce or so. There are many similar reviews with complaints, so buyer beware!Update: whatever this musty stuff is, there's no peppermint scent to work for my deer repellent. I won't buy this anymore. I wish I'd returned it.

The scent of the lemon is the real deal. I wanted to share with everyone why I purchased this lemon oil was, because I was trying to get rid ofa plantar’s wart under the padding of my foot. It was the size of a quarter & hurt like you wouldn’t believe. I did research to find out what I coulduse for an all natural product & this was it. There was a good review so I thought I would give it a try. It takes patients to rid these nasty warts; soyou must be persistent. Apply 2X a day with a Q-tip & let dry before putting on your socks. It takes about 2 months; so don’t give up. Finally mywart is drying up & shrinking. I tried Tea Tree oil first & thought the nasty smell would kill it, but did not. So I am on the lemon oil & that did the trick. If you do not see results in 2 months you can try lavender oil or tea tree oil. I’ve tried the doctor’s in the past & it takes more than one visitto burn it off. It is a very painful method & costly, too. Please do not try & cut it out; you will do damage & it does not work. A wart is several layers deep. I hope I can help some people out there, because this oil is awesome. Many thanks, Amazon, for carrying this brand. :)

I have purchased this brand before in a smaller size. This size is a great value. This peppermint oil helps me with sinus congestion, keeping bugs out of my apartment as well as providing a clean fresh smell. Peppermint Oil is toxic for cats and dogs.

I used this regular in my defuser and in spray bottles for round the house to spray the doors and windows and vents to deter spiders, ants, mice and other critters. Has been safe with my pets smells amazing and works great for other uses.!

Delightful! I once had an anxiety attack and someone had this bottle and told me “sniff and breathe this in” - I don’t know but it felt magical to smell the lemon and soothing. Maybe it was just a distraction, but I bought it and used it to calm my 8 year old before bed. I said “ sniff and close your eyes”. I put some drops on my hands and rubbed together and then waved them over her nose to smell while eyes closed- and she relaxed. It was a fun exciting day and time to be calm so I tried this and it worked!!! I am learning the benefits of essential oils and it’s better than medicine sometimes and natural!

I always buy Aura Cacia essential oils. You can be assured of their quality as they test their essential oils 100 percent for quality. I made the mistake of purchasing a large bottle of another brand. It was immediately apparent that the other brand was not 100 percent peppermint oil. It had a much fainter aroma & did not smell as much like peppermint. After the bottle was open for about a week it no longer had any peppermint aroma at all. I poured the entire bottle out. I use the oil for control of spiders & other small insects in my house. I place a few drops on cotton balls & place them around the house in closets, along the baseboards, & in corners. I refresh the cotton balls 1-2 a month. The small insects I see now are dead. I have only seen a couple of spiders since I started using the oil & they were dead. I thought it only repelled them, but it must kill them also as they were dead near the cotton balls. I also use it for aromatherapy & therapeutic purposes. Amazon had the best price for the large bottles.

I’ve bought this exact product several years from Whole Foods but to save time I bought 2 bottles from this seller. Both smelled weird. Musty? Idk but it was gross and threw it out. I now see another reviewer said same thing. So maybe old stock idk. Anyhow, the Aura Cacia brand is normally great but I suggest buying it from Whole Foods if you do. Have a great day.
